Myself and my Husband spent 10 nights at this Hotel and found it clean but in need of updating. The pool required a lick of paint and there were no signs advising of depth, but was clean at all times. The drain was huge on our balcony comprising of metal bars with tiles broken all around, it was both dangerous and an eyesore. The views over the Mariner however were spectacular both from our Balcony and the area allocated for breakfast. The breakfast was adequate but did lack in variety so after the fourth day we were struggling to eat it. Transport is an absolute must, as the stroll to the beach is actually a 40 min hike which is not pleasant at all as there is no provision for pedestrians at the side of the road. We had to walk daily along the side of the road taking our lives in our hands to any reasonable restaurant . We found the staff to be extremely helpful and the rooms were cleaned daily..The views are stunning and I would recommend a short stay here.

We spent in this hotel 2 nights and we were amazed with the personnel. All of them spoke english, they were very nice to us, smiling all the time. Breakfast was fine, great cappuccino, and the stunning view.

The valdiola is located in a beautiful place with stunning views of the Costa smerelda.fantastic terraces and a nice pool.the breakfast is typical of the island and can be enjoyed on a terrace overlooking the coast.the hotel does not offer lunch/dinner however there is a very good restaurant within 50m.there is a lovely beach within1km.very friendly staff.

I booked it cause of the location and price, pictures looked good but the rooms werent great. Service was poor since they could barely speak English it was very hard to communicate.
We had 2 lizards stay with us in the room. Eww.

This area is notoriously overpriced but Valdiola have remained very reasonable in cost and offer a perfect base when staying in Sardinia
The hosts cannot do enough to help and it's so peaceful and relaxing, we have already booked for next year
