Just What We Needed

My family and I made a spontaneous trip to Valencia from Madrid to attend a conference in town. Finding accommodations for a family of 4 was challenging. A room with 2 Queen beds in a hotel was hard to find, so we opted to stay at Valenciaflats for 2 nights and booked a 2 bedroom apartment. It's a block away from the science center, aquarium, and the wonderful Parque Gulliver, which provided hours of fun for my kids. The apartment was away from any street noise, so we all slept well. Breakfast was included the first morning only since we booked through their website. It was a typical Spanish breakfast (coffee, juice, toast with tomato, fruit, piece of cake). We didn't cook in the apartment at all, but it seemed well--stocked for the most part. There was a 1 cup coffee maker (more like an espresso device) and an electric water heater. The A/C was running just fine (we like it cold when we sleep) and the beds were comfortable enough. Overall, we had a nice stay.
Just know that the building is surrounded by other apartment buildings with local residents, not tourists. When I stepped out onto the balcony I can see people on theirs, laundry hanging on clotheslines, etc. Since this type of accommodation is so kid-friendly, you may hear kids next door or in the hallway late at night. The floors got very dirty (beige, shiny tile) very quickly, but that's just how it is. There is a playground right out back and a lovely bakery behind the flats that we loved. Definitely not luxury living, but sufficient for our 2 day stay with children.
Can’t fault it

Myself, my husband and our seven year old daughter stayed over October half term (uk).
We had apartment number 74 which was on the top floor. We had a double room, a bathroom, a living/dining room (with double sofa bed) and a small kitchen. The accommodation was spotless and gave us everything we needed.
The staff were great. They came up when we were struggling to close the shutters, the provided ironing boards and irons when we needed them and they were always on hand to give directions or to call us a taxi when we asked.
We felt that the apartment was in a great location and we saw all the sights. We had a lovely few days in Valencia and couldn’t fault the apartment. Would highly recommend to others.
Great apartment, great location

Our family stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment, which was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. Only reason for 4 stars is the lack of washer in the unit, and real soap/shampoo in the bathroom.
The front desk staff was amazing - they were always efficient and willing to help. They lent our kids toys to play with, called a taxi in the middle of the night for an emergency, arranged tickets to Oceanografic.
The location is very handy for Oceanografic (allowing us to come back for lunch) and the Ciutat de las ciencias i artes. There were several restaurants to eat at (right downstairs and around the corner), playgrounds, grocery stores and a big mall. In addition, we were able to easily take buses to the old town and the beach.
Would highly recommend and stay here again.
Excellent!

My wife, daughter (2 year old) and I stayed here at the end of June. We would highly recommend the apartment and would happily stay again.
In particular, the staff on reception were amazing. Always friendly and helpful: re-printing lost boarding passes and later directing us to a doctor (our daughter was unwell on the last day).
We had a 35sqm apartment - 1 bed with separate lounge/kitchen and it suited our needs perfectly. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. A comfortable cot and a highchair were provided for no charge.
The location is very handy for the Aquarium and there were plenty of decent restaurants within easy walk
Nice!

Lovely appartment (we had an upgrade). Everything you need is there. Good spot! Very close to the beautiful new town and if you walk 30 min you are in the old town (nice walk through the park that runs around most of the city). Nice staff and good restaurant next to it (Elbar). Also nice that you can park your car in a closed parking garage (€14,- a night).
