Very spacious room, nice balcony with outlook over wooded area. Huge bed with separate duvets which is great! Room quite "business like " rather than plush. Lighting a big dim, needs a mirror over the desk for hair and make up purposes! I went on to the balcony with a hand mirror to do get decent light. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the usual buffet style, nice choice of breads, cereal, cheese etc. Bus stop a 2 minute walk, direct bus to Arnhem for 2 euros, cheaper than a taxi.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a great variety and the staff were all very friendly. There was a case of misunderstanding but that was solved immediately. I definitely recommend this place. Although not in the center, Arnhem could be easily reached by public transport.

Always perfect! I always stay at Van der Valk in Holland. Rooms are very nice and clean. Has free parking! Internet!
To be sure that everything is going to be perfect during your satay, choose Van der Valk.

British Hoteliers would do well to visit this hotel and learn a few lessons from the Dutch. My Only observation would be that we only had the room service menus in the room and it would have been helpful; to have had the hotel restaurant menu and prices available in the room too. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to friends and I would return again in future.
