We come here often and always book the new comfort deluxe rooms. They are situated in a more quiet wing of the hotel and are spacious with a generously size bathroom with double bath and a large walk in shower.
The beds are good, probably because of the top mattress. Whatever the reason, sleeping is an enjoyment on those beds. The pillows are somewhat thick and stiff; hence i travel with my own soft pillow. Another good thing in the room is the kind of dressing table that is missing is most Dutch hotels. A large mirror, a large low stool and a socket for the hairdryer; what else does a woman need?
The bedrooms are located in a kind of separate building but there is a walk way between the bedroom building and the main building. Therefore, if the weather is awful, just stay inside to get to the restaurant for breakfast or dinner, or bar for pre-dinner drinks.

A quirky place with some interesting design features built into a fairly tired old place.
Rooms are nice enough, linens and duvets a bit cheap feeling. Good shower and wifi and really good breakfast hence the four stars dragging up an average place

We came from another Van Der Valk hotel so we decided to make stop in this hotel. Staff is very friendly, rooms are spacefull, very clean , very nice and spacefull bathroom, soft towels,
Breakfast offers a big range , is not the cheapest but is worth his money

The hotel is large and very busy, but has a very pleasant atmosphere. Large rooms which are kept very clean and well stocked with toiletries. Some room may suffer from traffic noise from the motorway. Very friendly, helpfull and polite staff.
Excellent quality for the money.

I will definitely be staying at any Van de Volk in the future. My only (tiny) complaint would be that I think the breakfast is a little pricey, but the quality almost justifies the cost. Top notch hotel, I would recommend it to anyone.
