I enjoyed my stay at this Marriott, which was about 10-12 min outside the Vancouver airport in a nice suburb called Richmond. The hotel's location was particularly nice, partially due to its proximity to the airport, and also due to it being almost across the street from Richmond Center Mall. The mall had several great restaurants and lots of good shopping.
The rooms were standard Marriott style rooms. I enjoyed an executive suite, which also had a nice living area for relaxing and separate bedroom. While perhaps a little dated, the price (at $130 USD) was enough to make up for any age or wear, in my opinion.
The hotel's staff was consistently excellent too. Every single person I interacted with, from front desk to housekeepers, were friendly, professional, and enjoyable to talk with. In particular, I found the morning restaurant staff to really be enjoyable. On my 2nd day, they remembered me, what I ordered, and happily anticipated my needs.
My only complaint is that the exercise room and "Concierge Lounge" were both undersized and stuffy. The lounge had no outside windows, and really wasn't a place you'd want to relax alone or with friends. The exercise room was slightly better, with at least some outside light, but quickly became hot and stuffy with 2-3 people working out at once. The weights were also very limited in their quantity, appearing almost as if they were purchased at a yard sale.
Overall, though, the property's location and staff were very good. While it was a bit dated, for the price point, I think it was a recommendable experience overall. When I return to the Vancouver area, I'll definitely look to stay again.

I feel like I went back to the 90s. There are signs of poor management everywhere from the gym to the disgusting elevator. There are no electrical plugs around the bed. The bathroom is exactly like a holiday inn express decoration. Anyway, for $70 less I have even better experience in the Holiday Inn. I am platinum member of Marriott so I know what is good and well managed Marriott is like.

We stayed at this hotel on the way to our destination and on our return. Shuttle to and from the airport was always on time, and in all cases the drivers were friendly and helpful. Front desk staff accommodated our requests to book in early. Nice restaurant on the main floor. We booked the King suite with an adequate living room, separate bedroom (with a comfortable bed) and a balcony. No issues. If I had to criticize anything it would be that the room smelled a bit musty when we first entered it. Nothing to stop us, though, from staying at this hotel again in the future.
And the Skytrain into town is just down the street.

Located 4.5 miles south of Vancouver, it is located in the same block as a Sheraton and a Hilton, sharing the same parking area.
There are many restaurants to eat near by, the larger ones around are Chinese.
Hotel decor is not new but is well kept, the suite was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. It is worth to come back.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and many other businesses. Plenty of good choices for food in the surrounding areas. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The complimentary coffee in the lobby is good as well as the restaurant and pub and grill inside the hotel.
