Our family with 2 children (11 and 14) stayed one week in June 2016 at Vassilis Guest House and we had a wonderful time. The two sisters are so charming, warm and helpful - excellent service with a big heart. We had a very spacious apartment on the top floor with views over the green lushy mountains, Parga town and the sea. It was a lovely stay and the small village Anthousa is also nice and pleasant. If you're looking for a beautiful, clean, friendly, charming place with excellent views and service - look no further! As others have told, the breakfasts were delicious as well. I would strongly recommend to hire a rental car, to be able to explore the area, visit nice small beaches, Parga town and the 'magic' Styx river. We would love to come back in the future!

We were at Vassilis for 5 nights with my two small children (5+3) in the midle of August.The house, the rooms, the pool, the garden were so perfect!so clean! and tide up everything, every day though that the house was full booked!!!breakfast was the biggest pumpering for us!!!Sofia and Fotini the owners, made our day-every day starting so smouth and happy especially when you have 2 little children full of energy...the breakfast at taverna -home made everything by the mother of Sofia & Fotini, was delicious and fresh every morning with a variety of different delights.The same lunch and dinner if you wanted to stay at Vassilis and relax having everything to your feet. All the family looking forward to come back to Vassilis House with the best team and property ever!!!!summer 2017 is on the way!!!!

It is the second year in the row that I visit Vassilis Guesthouse in Anthousa. This time I brought additional people with me. My parents, boyfriend, my sister and her daughters. In my first year, I did not write a recommendation due to lack of time.
Vassilis Guesthouse is located in Anthousa in a little village not far away from Parga. If you want to escape from the mass of tourists during the high season, Vassilis Guest house is the right place to be.
The hotel has a wonderful garden and beautiful old olive trees that gives the hotel a very special touch.
We had absolutely beautiful rooms, with individual touches and warm colours! The cleaning service is excellent and it is absolutely clean, esp. when you come back after a whole day on the beach.
The best place for a great breakfast is Vassilis Guest house. The mother of the owners is preparing every day fresh pitta, cakes and all kinds of different surprises. The jams are also prepared by their own. Absolutely great breakfast to start a good day!
If you want to avoid the hectic in Parga for dinner, you can decide to dine in their own tavern. The father of the owners is very forthcoming and friendly and the food is great!
What impressed us the most is the friendliness and the absolute hospitality of Fotini & Sofia (the owners)! They give you the feeling that you are home. Both of them are very friendly and you can see that they want their guest to have the best possible stay in their hotel.
Fantastic people! Great hotel and not far away from all the main sights!

We can't praise this guest house enough. Sisters, Fotini & Sophia, made us welcome from the minute we arrived and did everything they could to make our stay very enjoyable. The accommodation and grounds are spotless and the breakfasts provided by the taverna were the best we have experienced. All the food is prepared by their mother, Tula, and included homemade marmalades, pastries and cakes. The small village of Anthoussa has several small shops and bars.

We have just returned from spending less than a week in Vassilis Guest House.Thank you Sophia for your hospitality and kindness - this is the best place in Anthousa and Parga. We loved sitting in the garden and by the pool under the lemon & olive trees. Vassilis House was a wonderfully relaxing place where we could relax and enjoy our stay. We would highly recommend it and you can be assured of the warmest hospitality of the family. The breakfast was wonderful, prepared by the mother in taverna with fresh orange juice and homemade pastries. We had dinner in the restaurant.Many thanks for a lovely holiday - we will definitely be coming back.
