    Lovely Cozy Cottage

    vivienne p on 23/09/2017 16:58

We spent 2 weeks in this Cottage (there are 6 cottages in the vicinity) it has 2 full beds and one small bed and 2 bathrooms. The living area is on the top floor so that the view can be appreciated. the 2 main beds are downstairs along with the bathrooms.
It had all the amenities that a family could want and a fireplace as well. The owner was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay and various visits with family and friends. Its a walk to the village but an enjoyable one. There is a small charge for the electricity used when staying for a longer period but this is just a gentle reminder to turn the lights and switches off when not in use. Not a bad thing. Remember to bring extra towels or ask the owner for more also extra TP and your own spices for cooking. Nearest Supermarket is Enistymon only a short drive. Enjoy!

Second great visit to these holiday cottages

Just back from Doolin and Atlantic View Cottages, this being our second trip. Great accommodation, warm comfortable and quiet (slept like logs). Just 15 minutes stroll from Doolin Village on a wonderful quiet back road (have a light for return) unless you are taking one of the frequent and very reliable taxis (Hi Almo!), TJ and Cora are super with local knowledge and are very friendly and relaxed. Cottages have all you require, all mod cons and superlative views. The wifi connection was instant. Aran View filling station/shop 3 minute walk has all the essentials including fire logs/turf for the cottage fire (well worth going to the effort). For the bigger shop Ennistymon has a large Supervalue and Lidl (stop off on the way to Doolin). Stonecutters Kitchen Restaurant and Clare Jams both required return visits - excellent.

    Fantastic base in west Claire

We stayed in one of the cottages for a week and I can't say enough good things about it. TJ our host was so welcoming and he has a great local knowledge of the area. The 3 bed bungalow we stayed in was so cosy, but yet had plenty of room for 4 adults and a child. The cottage has all the facilities you could need, oven, microwave, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher etc. And it was very clean. It's ideal for families with small children (no stairs). There's a garden with seating in the back and a swing in the front.
The location is fantastic for exploring county Clare. There is so much to do nearby. Visit the Cliffs of Moher, day trip to the Arann Islands, surfin or walking the beach in Lahinch, Moherhill farm for kids, the Burren, Fanore beach, Ballyvaughan, Flaggy Shore, Doolin caves and of course Doolin pubs with traditional Irish music.

    Relaxing Break

Myself and three friends spent a weekend in Atlantic View cottages. The owner came to meet us, he was a lovely friendly man very proud of his cottages and who would blame him. We stayed in a three bedroom with stove it was very clean and comfortable like home from home it was just outside Doolin but still close enough to the village. We would all stay here again as we really enjoyed it so until next time ✔️

    Easter Break In Doolin

TJ made us feel so welcome. The cottage is fully equipped with everything your could possibly want. Warm , cosey and homely. Didn't want to leave and wished we had stayed longer. 10 minute walk into Doolin, we went in for Dinner and the live music in the evenings. My sister and I relaxed in the cottage in the evenings and really enjoyed everything it had to offer. TJ was on hand for any questions we had and relaly give us a fantastic overview on the area and sightseeing. Highly recommend the cottage and plan to rebook and stay in the future.
