I have stayed at veronica guest with friends, with family and with my wife. Everytime I check in at veronica guest house, I feel that I am at home. This is all because of Joseph (the owner) who has very friendly nature. The rooms are very clean with each and every gadget appliance running properly. Sometimes there are issues with the internet connectivity, but hey come on who sits at hotel room for internet connectivity when you are in Goa.

it's a budget guest house & not a hotel. thus it offers limited services.
it is a average place to stay for 2-3 days.
it is very close to Calangut beach & can walk to it in 5 minutes.
Good things- 24 hours hot water, RO water purifier for all guests, Wi-Fi connection, pickup -drop service available. people are ready to help for any issue.
location is quiet & peaceful.
No so good- location is off main road. managing team is young amateurs thus not very professional. Does not offer in room dining. does not pick up bags to get them to rooms, you have to do yourself.
Overall- budget location if you can get good discounts for 900 to 1000 per night.

I had a satisfactory experience during my stay in the month of Feb 2013. Moreover, at a moderate price, the hotel has a great value for money, given the variety and quality of services it offers.
The hotel rooms were OK and with all modern facilities & open balcony where u can enjoy the sun set. The staff was polite & helpful too. One of the most nearest hotel to Calangute beach.

Go for this hotel only if u are on a low budget. Not a great experience staying here. I went for a stay of 2 days with my family. The staff first tried to shift us to another hotel because they had taken additional bookings for the same duration.
So we started on a wrong footing, thanks to the greedy staff behaviour.
Pros:
1. Rooms were neat and clean.
2. Hot water available.
3. WiFi available.
Cons:
1. Poor quality bedsheets.
2. Open wiring slots.
3. Toilet seat broken.
4. No toilet tissues. Tissue Holder broken.
5. Towel hanger broken.
6. Staff behaviour is aloof and not cooperative.
7. No room service.
8. Transparent windows.
9. Restaurant is average.
Overall it was a very average experience. Definitely not worth the money I paid for. The staff was interested. Travel light or be prepared to carry your bags yourself.

I booked the hotel for 3 nights. When we arrived at the hotel, the unprofessional attitude of the hotel was quite visible. We had to carry our luggage till the room. Inside the room, there was a tally with the hotel's own set of wierd rules. Room service is on alternate days. The bedsheet and pillow covers were torn and had lot of stain marks. With regards to food, we didnt prefer eating there, thanks to the earlier reviews on trip advisor. Overall, a bad experience, not at all value for money.
