This hotels advertised pictures do not show the hotel as it is. we stayed here one night thankfully. The rooms were awful, broken fittings, old and worn decor. my room had such a strong rank odour which was awful. To get to the hotel we had to navigate a building site where a new road is going in. the hotel had no bar or restaurant. of the twelve hotels we stayed at this one was the worst. the only ok thing was the morning coffee.

Not a great place at all.
Air con barely functioning. Rooms small. Whole place need completely redecorated.
Breakfast was ok though.
I think the fact that the whole place was surrounded by roadworks didn't help but, not a place I would go back to.

We were two couples tourung around Europe and wanted to find a reasonable hotel in the Nimes area.
Reception eas fine, but then we saw our rooms, which smelled damp, within which was a shower over a tiny bath with no curtain. Impossible to shower.
The wifi was less than 1Mb and did not work in the bedrooms.
When we returned in the evening and asked for a beer, we used their entire stock - 4 small bottles of beer. And NO WINE!

We stay only one night and I think that a second is too much.
Quite good location but unconfortable beds and not very clean. The staff, breakfast and the public areas were nice and good................................................................and nothing else.

First of all, I didn't book this room. Someone else had booked it for us, so I had absolutely no say in the choice of accommodation. We stayed here three nights and I dreaded every second.
Upon entering the room, we were greeted by a damp smell. The room was dirty and there was hair (not ours!!) on the bed. My roommate and I complained about the hair three times, and after each morning cleaning, there was still hair on the bed.
The beds were terrible and the mattresses were old and sagging. It left me with an aching back.
Furthermore, the hotel is in an unsafe part of Avignon. There is a bus just outside that you can take to the old part of the city, but on the way back, it passes through some really gritty parts of the city. I like travelling on public transport, but I felt very uncomfortable travelling in this area.
The only saving grace was the breakfast, which was surprisingly good.
The Vert Hotel scores very high on the icky factor. I would never recommend it.
