My husband and myself stayed there for 1 night from Saturday to Sunday.
I had a massage booked on Saturday afternoon which was great! in the room we had just a bathrobe to go to the wellness / pool. I remember when I was there 4 years ago, we also had a little bag and slippers to go to the pool.... this was disappointing.
also in the wellness / pool area it is written "Espace detente", meaning "relaxation area".... we more had the feeling to be in the public pool of Munster and not in a wellness hotel! kids screaming and running everywhere, some adults were not better. maybe it is because we when on a bank holidays, so realy too many people, was not relaxing at all.
The diner was excellent, excellent food and excellent service. realy can not complain at all, same for the breakfast.
The bedroom was also very nice and clean, renovated. the bathroom was great.

We stayed on the way to our holiday and on the way back....an overnight with evening meal and breakfast.....the food was outstanding.....the rooms as expected...no bidet in France apparently .. (room 105).....wonderful apart from one girl ...she was very rude ..reaching over people serving meals ...pretending not to understand even when we spoke to her in French.....which was very embarrassing and making a real "song and dance "...when I paid for two drinks with 20 euros......i only got six euros back anyway....she earned the nickname.of the Rottweiller....from all 23 of us.......shame this will be on our feedback form to Acklams...

A large and quite smart hotel with plenty of parking on site as well as a good pool and spa with the usual steam and sauna, a small gym, pools and jacuzzi. Our room was a good size with excellent large bathroom - shower powerful and hot. Staff were all charming and English spoken. We ate on both evenings of our stay in the restaurant, it's not cheap but we definitely enjoyed the best food of our 10 day trip here - regional and French dishes all prepared and presented beautifully. There's a good choice and a fixed price menu too. Wine list was long but nothing under about 35 euros. You could take a short walk into town for much cheaper eats - we just had a beer!

We stayed here for one night on our way to Italy and then on our way back. We enjoyed it so much we decided it merited a longer stay. The hotel is lovely and relaxing with plenty of space to sit comfortably outside of the room. The pools are fab for a relaxing swim. You can eat inside and out. The menus are different and interesting with amuse bouches etc and great care was taken to adapt and accommodate to my allergies... Rather than just omitting food I can't eat. The deserts were an artform. All staff were friendly and attentive. The only downside was no complimentary drinks in the room and I do like a cup of tea when I wake.

We stayed here for one night only unfortunately! It was one of the hotels on our walking holiday and it was by far the best of the 5. We really couldn't believe that it's only got a 3 star rating because everything about it was wonderful. It was exceptionally clean, big rooms and bathrooms, lovely grounds, fab decor, great little spa. All the staff were welcoming and professional. I have to mention the restaurant in particular... we had a lovely meal and the service was outstanding. The very young chap who served us was incredibly knowledgable, attentive and efficient. The food was fantastic. With hindsight we would have built a rest day into our holiday so that we could have stayed here a 2nd night. Brilliant.
