I was there for one night on my motor bike trip through Spain and Portugal. Unfortunately they have no garage, but had a space in front of reception, so they looked well after my bike.
Reception was very helpful and friendly.
Rooms modern and clean; water in the shower was working/perfect 😊; room small though, but as only sleeping there it was for me sufficient.
Very close to centre and monuments; so also lots of tapas bars and restaurants around.
Excellent Location and friendly staff

Excellent location, front desk super helpful, air conditioning works excellent, very good bed, quiet, close to everything! Great price.
Room is small (who cares), but bed is big, bathroom good size.
Highly recommend it because front desk staff is supper friendly and knowledgeable. Room is clean, easy parking outside the hotel (street), restaurants and monuments close by.
Excellent location, Modern and Bright.

Hotel Vettonia is well located and within easy walking distance for visiting all the Roman and other attractions offered by Merida. The hotel is modern, compact, bright and clean. Excellent en suite facilities, free Wifi and good easy to control air conditioning. All reception staff speak good English and are most helpful, if you require advice or directions. Should you arrive by car, the hotel does not have parking facilities but on street parking is available on all streets close by. The hotel does not seem to have breakfast facilities but this is not a problem. There is a small square about 50m from the hotel where there are three or four café/bars, all serving breakfast. Alternatively, take the short walk into the town centre where very may café/bars/restaurants all serve breakfast.
Not really any more to add. Would I use the hotel again, definitely and probably will.
Clean, efficient hotel

This hotel was very reasonably priced and close enough to walk to several attractions. The accommodations were clean. Though it was a basic place, it was still nice at a great price and the reception staff were very friendly.
There was no designated parking but I was fortunate enough to find a spot across the street in front of the hotel.
Great option if you're passing thru town or plan to spend most of your time out in the town.
Great but noisy

We stayed two nights, the hotel is clean, comfortable.. the receptionist Barbara is wonderful, her restaurant recommendations were great. The bed was comfortable, the bolster pillow was not good, but the hotel provided a smaller pillow on request. The position is perfect for visiting the town and the sights. Car parking is on street, but was easy.. the local graffiti is a little off putting. So why 4*? It was nearly only 3* ... on Saturday night it was hot, no aircon as it is ´winter' so we had to have the windows open... the local disco bashed away until about 2am, so sleep was impossible. Fortunately there were quiet on Sunday night. Hotels need to allow aircon even if it pushes the price up a little, saying open the window is not good enough. I doubt we will return.
