Good, central location close to main city attractions and public transport;very good service with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was standard, and could be improved - eg, eggs to order, and some more variety.

Large room with big windows and very comfortable bed. Great location with trams and Spencer Street Station / Skybus just across the road. With such a good size room though it would be good to have two chairs rather than one.

The pros: Customer service was very good and staff were very helpful; it's a really convenient location; bathroom was very nice.
The cons: The room was crowded with oddly placed furniture that made it awkward - it would be really difficult with two people staying in the room; the mattress topper and pillows needed updating to something more comfortable.

Hotel itself is lovely....looks good outside and the room is acceptable. Not expensive and great location.
Unfortunately that's where it ends. Check in was not great as I wanted valet parking and had parked on the opposite side of the road. Traffic was banked right back and there was a bus parked in the valet zone. The said they would not park my car unless I parked it directly in front of the building. I had to go back out in the rain and break every traffic law to get it there.
Ordered in room breakfast the following day...COLD. Ate it anyway as we were both hungry. The coffee was aweful and the bacon overcooked and tough as leather. The toast was cold and hard whilst the poached eggs were hard boiled.
Overall not the experience we expected and very disappointed.

The hotel, the staff, the room, the food everything about this hotel was super. I highly recommend it. A superb place to stay especially if you have been on the road for a while and need to do a quick wash of your clothes.
