Wonderful Innkeeper!
lovelyric08on 20/08/2017 20:20The innkeeper is so friendly---makes you feel right at home. The home is lovely as are the grounds. Everything was clean, the breakfast was very good--homemade scones, crustless quiche, crisp bacon and fresh fruit. The table was set beautifully and the innkeeper sat down with us to chat. She is a lovely person. Very walkable area too.
Weekend escape!
davidgS9016KEon 08/08/2017 03:14Warm cookies at arrival, great bedroom, beautiful house, fantastic breakfast, wonderful porch to relax, owner that makes you feel like home. Recommend highly and will go back again, loved it. A couple hundred feet away from Fox River Trail bike path was perfect.
Three lovely days at the elegant Victorian Rose

Couldn't have been more pleasant
treatment_boundon 01/03/2017 19:45We stayed on an unusually warm mid-Feb. Sat. night. After walking around the historic town for an hour, we headed on over. It was perfect...Nice easy check-in at 4 which included a quick tour. Afternoon beverages and a hot snack are also available at that point.
Sherry and her staff-person really made us feel right at home. Super quiet, and totally relaxing. They even came up to the room the night before to get a breakfast preference, and the spinach quiche we settled on couldn't have been tastier. This was after an excellent fruit plate presentation.
We will surely be going back at some point, hopefully this fall for a Fox River Trail bike outing.

Crystal Pon 28/12/2016 01:35We only had a 1 night stay. But it was perfect. The owner was amazing and very helpful with a restaurant suggestion. The room was on the vintage side, which we liked. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding. I had a dietary request and they were very accommodating. We will definitely stay again.
