Last minute booking
Julian Aon 01/10/2017 21:37We were very lucky to come across Villa 33 at the last minute. Thank you Timothy and team for looking after us and for being so accommodating. We were able to choose which rooms we wanted and were shown all on offer.
Good and quiet
Ahbannagaon 28/08/2017 19:34We were three travellers and had to work hard to find a suitable place
They offered us a room with three beds and a large sofa which was nice
You need a car to travel around.
The breakfast was poor as the place was not occupied
We'll stay again
Could be much more
CongoAussieon 24/08/2017 18:38I originally booked this hotel because it seemed like a nice combination of a decent room, quiet surroundings, and good food - and ended up being a bit disappointed by all three. The room was nice, but the lack of hot water for the shower was a let down after a day of travelling. The property itself is quiet large, with a lovely garden, but the room backed on to the dining room, and some heated discussions came through clearly and made sleep difficult. The restaurant was the biggest disappointment; you have to track down the waitress to ask for a menu, then find her again to give your order, and so on and so on.
Nice for Malawi
Mark Gon 21/03/2017 17:31Clean, decent shower, good mattress, nice receptionists, overall a good place where to stay in Blantyre. It is a bit out of town but this means they have rooms when nobody else has. Free WiFi. A plus is the eccellent Italian seafood restaurant on the premises. Fairly priced for Blantyre (80-100 USD)
Tranquil, peaceful, great stay
LeeLancasteron 08/03/2017 09:29Villa 33 transports you out of the hustle and bustle of the city, into a magical garden paradise. I love staying here as the rooms are sunny and cheerful. The gardens magnificent with little monkeys jumping around from tree to tree. The Italian restaurant has a flamboyant Italian chef, who is happy to make personal recommendations or tailor a dish to your requirements.
Enjoy your morning coffee under the expansive trees, or explore the gardens with all the little hidden spaces within property. Waterways run through out the property so there is always the soft, gentle flow of water sounds calming your soul.
I have stayed here twice in the last two months, and am looking forward to making this my regular monthly stop.
