Spacious

I stayed in a one bedroom one bathroom apartment over 4 nights. Overall I would concider staying again when next in Noosa, however I will look elsewhere to see what's available.
Pro's
- Location - close proximity to Coolum beach, just a 5 minute walk through Norrie Job Memorial Park. A large bottle shop directly across the street owned and managed by uncle Dan Murphy and adjacent Coles, coffee shop, hotel, bakery etc.
- Spacious apartment; balcony, good kitchen facilities, sofa with chaise, new TV with foxtel channels
- Good pools
Con's
- Apartments are only serviced once a week and additional amenities which are not of high quality are charged extra. Not one would expect for advertised luxury. For the price it is expected at least the beds are made daily. I suggest you bring your own soap, shampoo etc as there isn't enough for an extended stay and not replenished.
- Alot of scuff marks in the apartment, main bedroom and some small holes in the blind. I will make management aware on my departure.
- Long brown hairs on the bathroom floor (not mine!) - a slight miss from housekeeping.
- Gym equipment dated, especially the exercise bike and treadmill. No free weights, music, towels or water dispenser. Couldn't find any staff to request items as not seen over weekend and checked in on a Saturday afternoon. The gym in my opinion could be so much better, but you can't please everyone.
Overall I was happy with my stay but I think this is suitable for families and I will recommend it to my friends who have kids. It should however be advertised as accessible and homely, not luxurious and modern.
Fantastic stay

I just stayed at Coolum on the beach with my wife for three nights. Location was amazing. We were walking distance to all restaurants and cafes not to mention a Coles and Dan Murphy's right across the road. Room was clean and the bed was big and very comfortable. Fantastic for a mini break or extended holiday as room was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need.
Good location, good pools, apartment had standard amenities but was very dark

We enjoyed our stay as our kids loved the pools, but a few things were disappointing. These are not luxury apartments (though priced accordingly), they are just modern family holiday apartments. The pools were very good, plenty of chairs and shade, next to very clean BBQs and a small but reasonable gym. Underground parking was provided. Location was also good - easy walk across road from a great patrolled beach, adjacent to supermarket, bottle shop and renovated local pub, and walking distance to shops/cafes. The apartment itself was reasonably modern, and pleasant but nothing special. There was good storage, and the kitchen was reasonably well equipped but missing some (mismatched) crockery. We were on the ground floor and the unit was very dark, the back bedrooms we called "the cave" as there was an additional wall outside the apartment which blocked natural light. However at night, fluoro lights in the outside corridor shone into the rooms through the sides of the curtains, keeping the kids awake. I also didn't know I was paying for zero housekeeping service - and no additional amenities - we booked on a hotel site, not a holiday apartment site. Most of the other apartments I have stayed at clean the rooms at least every 3rd day with rubbish cleared daily (or on request). This place apparently only offers a weekly service. At the nightly rate price we paid, I shouldn't have to pay extra for a replacement roll of toilet paper when staying for a week, or more dishwasher powder (which they expect us to use to wash up and put away dishes prior to departure). Made the whole place seem penny pinching and not luxury at all. Also we had to take out all of our own rubbish each day, and the garbage chute was quite revolting. We were also instructed to clean the apartment before leaving or potentially face an additional cleaning charge. Would I stay again? Maybe. But there are plenty of similar properties in the area, similarly located, but more competitively priced with more service.
Amazing relaxing beach holiday for all water sports lovers

We were given a three bed two bath but only wanted a one bed so we had the option of leaving the other rooms or using and paying a bit more. Great value for money. The apartment was fully equipped with a nice spacious balcony and there were three pools, not big but adequate enough for a swim and keeping cool. The beach is literally 10 minutes walk away as are restaurants, coffee shops, and Coles supermarket across the street.
Excellent facilities

We recently stayed in 2 x two bedroom apartments for 7 nights. The property is very well located - only a short walk to the beach and shops across the road. The supermarket is directly opposite and very convenient as we didn't have to plan meals ahead. We found our rooms to be very clean and well appointed. All the beds were very comfortable. The sheltered and private pool area was beautiful and the pool very clean and well maintained (we saw cleaners around the pool area every morning). Despite being very full, we didn't notice the crowds and there were no more than a few families in the pool area at one time. I used the Gym and it was excellent. The staff were lovely and when we had one minor issue, they attended to it immediately. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to others.
