Villa Elisa is a lovely hotel, with a wonderful garden and poolarea, and a nice glassveranda where we ate breakfast. Breakfast was ordinary, but everyting was good and the family was satisfied.
The staff was very friendly, always smiling and helpful, they even did us some lunch outside the opening times and menu. We had absolute no complaints about cleaning.
The outdoorpool was open, but not heated at our visit in the end of September. Pooltowels was available at the room. We didn´t visit the spa, it seemed to expensive for the family.
We lived in a superior room (2 beds, 1 convertible armchair and 1 extra bed) That was maybe a bit too small for 4 persons with bags, but it worked for us. Our room also had a little balcony, and it was nice to open the doors to get in the atmosphere from outside into the room. Quiet at nights, good sleep.
The price was maybe a little too high in our opinion when we compare to other hotelstays, but maybe reasonable for the region? We liked the atsmospere and can recommend the hotel to other visitors to Bordighera.

Absolutely 1st class. Staff are excellent. Room was air conditioned and clean and smart. Breakfast , surroundings was fantastic. And plenty to eat. Only a 15/20min walk to the sea , downhill. It has a very colonial feel about it. Small pool but ideal to cool you down. The 3 star rating it has should be moved to 4 star. We will visit again. God willing. Thankyou.

We spent four days in Villa Elisa in August 2017 with family including two small children. We had one room facing the street equiped with a terasse and one towards the garden.
Both rooms had their strong points. The garden side is more peaceful. The street side has the sun and the terasse.
The hotel is nicely decorated with classy old style furnichure. The combination of modern and old is done with good taste. The place is neat and clean and everything functions perfectly.
I found the place really cosy and the atmosphere relaxing and pleasant.
The staff is kind and the receptionists manage to communicate in various languages. They are really kind and helpful.
The restaurant staff is really professional and the breakfast room functions really well. You have your table reserved for yours stay.
The breakfast is really good !
The beds are confortable and the pillows and covers are good. I slept really well.
This was also assured to by the cooling system that functioned perfectly and could be regulated to one's personal preference.
I am planning to travel back to Bordighierra and definetly back to Villa Elisa.

Still a super, unpretentious family hotel in a lovely seaside town - came back this year after a previous stay a few years ago. Welcoming and friendly staff, nice rooms with effective air conditioning, good buffet breakfast, and a gem of a hotel pool. We are a big family with children ranging from teenagers to five years old, but all had a great time - the kids in particular enjoying playing with the other families and making new friends. The hotel exudes charm and is a short walk to the beach, shops/restaurants/supermarkets, and old town. For a family holiday we couldn't fault this place; just fab.

We just had five nights and had a fantastic stay. Great location, breakfast, pool and staff team. Only slight complaint was that our air conditioning was a bit noisy and not that effective but a small price to pay. Would highly recommend
