People in the hotel are friendly, spa is ok. However the rooms are atrocious and the restaurant terrible. Just returned after a 5 day holiday with my wife after staying here, the people and staff are lovely, spa was final also.
Got to the room and it was very basic, no tea/coffee making facilities, no A/C and the bed horrendous. It was like sleeping on a tiled floor. I returned home after 5 nights with very little sleep and a bad back. A huge disappointment.
The restaurant had a lovely looking menu, when we made our selection on the 1st night we were told...sorry we have none on this page at all and you have a choice of a penne pasta dish or a chicken dish. 2 x choices of food from a whole menu! Staggering.
The breakfast was just as bad, 12 euros to have a selection of yoghurts, toast, stale looking meats and a ripe banana. We decided after the 1st night to dine elsewhere and upon leaving after our 5 days they tried to charge me for 4 x days' breakfast.
They really need to invest in the rooms and improve the restaurant to improve the hotel. I won't be back. Very, very disappointed.

Early evening arrival after a long drive to find the hotel didn't have our booking wasn't a great start. Fifteen minutes of confusion and discussion but they did find us a room and the receptionist was pretty friendly throughout.
We had two twin rooms on the first floor overlooking the entrance and car park. These were tired and dated - thin carpet, painted wood chip walls, chipped doors and skirting - but at least clean. Basically they need re-furbished and brought up to date, along with the public areas.
Service was erratic - ranging from friendly and enthusiastic (including the new starter in the bar) to sullen waiter who couldn't care less. Frustrating because clearly some of them get it.
Dinner menu was pretty basic with limited choice based on the usual suspects of Steak, Duck, couple of regional dishes - however all tasted pretty good.
Overall seem to be trading on their location and Spa (which in fairness we didn't use), but at £250+ for four of us, room only, I wouldn't spend my money to rush back.

The room is ok, the hotel staf (reception, waiters, cleaning lady) were really nice. Spa pool is cold and during aqua gym you can not use the pool if you don't do the class even when pool is half full. So with a young 20 month old kid is really difficult to make him understand that he has to wait.. Also the water is fairly cold on top of that the lifeguard insisted on keeping open all the windows despite complain from guests creating a cold air current everywhere. I was really un-happy with the attitude of the lifeguard, he yell at me from the other side of the pool to tell me I could not enter the pool with my kids during the aqua gym and before that that my bathing suit was too long to be allowed (had to buy one at the spa desk). He went to the extend to ask an nice old lady seating by the stair with her legs in the water to remove them during the class this was ridiculous and completely unnecessary. I do understand there is rules and if the pool was full of people taking the aqua gym class I will have understood but when Is half full and there is enough space to allow other people in the water this should be allowed will not come back neither advice this place to friends.

A bit dated, this older spa hotel feels a bit like an old age home. Staff are friendly enough, but the building and decor are lacking. The spa area is ok - pool, sauna, steam bath, plus a small gym and of course spa packages on offer.
The restaurant serves a decent breakfast. Our one dinner in the hotel was not great. Bright fluorescent lights and not a lot of choice on the menu.
