Beautifully Renovated Hotel
844valeriehon 11/10/2017 05:12I stayed at this location for 3 nights the first week of October '17. Stayed in room 627 and the renovations make it a very relaxing place to stay in. Extremely clean room. Comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. Couch and recliner were very comfortable. Nice to see the TV system has been upgraded in order to see the upcoming programs ahead of time. Having a Kurig coffee maker in the room is definitely a nice addition. Perhaps the only drawback to the room, for some, would be the sink outside the bathroom itself. Being a single person, this was not an issue for me. I have been staying at this location over a 10 years period now and I have to say, this stay was the most enjoyable.

25A_LLHon 25/09/2017 02:43Clean room with comfortable beds. Had a quick stopover. Room lightings were a little dark for comfort though. Room wifi had a different password than that listed on the key card. No frills. Had all the basics.
Great Spring Visit to Vernon
krp329on 19/09/2017 19:17We stayed here several nights, to enjoy spring-time hiking and cycling. We picked this hotel based on location and also because of the gym .... hands down, this is the best "hotel" gym EVER. (Mainly because it is not a hotel gym - it's an independent business located in the same complex as the hotel, and there is an arrangement between the hotel and the gym that allows its use by hotel guests.)
The restaurant and the pub at the hotel are both very good. Front desk staff were very helpful. Bicycle storage is provided in a storage room near the front desk. Should we visit Vernon again, we would be very happy to stay here again.

funtravels4meon 04/09/2017 19:30The Bathroom: You can't close the bathroom door unless you step between the toilet and the sink because the door barely clears the toilet. Now the toilet -- the toilet bowl is square. The toilet seat is also square but much smaller. Picture your warm body descending on the cold toilet bowl because the seat is too small -- not fun! Now the shower -- there is only a couple of inches between the toilet bowl and the bathtub so you have to climb in close to the shower head. There was no problem getting the shower on -- but turning it off was a different story. The lever that turned on the shower could not be pushed in to shut it off. I pushed and pushed and tried banging the lever with my hand to get it to go in so the water would shut off. All I did was burst some small blood vessels in the palm of my hand. Finally, I used a towel and something to bang it with and was able to push the lever in to finally stop the water. Unbelievable!
The A/C vent was close to the ceiling and the cold air blew right across the 2 beds. The first night it never went off. It just blew and blew all night. It was not a good night's sleep. The second night, I turned the air conditioner to a warmer temperature so that there were times when it would stop blowing. But the room ended up being too warm.
The TV had washed out colour. It looked like a faded picture.
The ice machine at the end of the hall was broken. The desk person indicated there was another ice machine in the next section of the building so I went there for ice. On the second day, the ice machine still didn't work.
The room was a nice size. The beds were clean and comfortable. However, it was disappointing to have issues with such basic items.
Great place to stay in Vernon
Sarah Hon 22/08/2017 02:18Stayed here for 2 nights. It had friendly staff and the room was clean. Would stay at this hotel again if in the area.
The night club attached has live music and is very busy on the weekends.
There was a wedding staying at the hotel at the same time so the restaurant was very busy for breakfast but, the food was good once it arrived. The pool and hot tub looked like they were nice.
Only negative was the wifi signal was terrible.
