I doubt the hotel was full but we had to pay extra for a Club Room. OK we got bottled water and a Tassimo machine but the cappuccino I was looking forward to did not materialise, all we got was a black coffee I had never heard of with cold milk, plus tea. Yes, the TV is big but we don't really watch TV. The bed was OK but it was two singles pushed together to make a kingsize!
We have stayed at many Village Hotels but are more than happy with a standard double room.

Friendly staff and very good bedroom accommodation and it was a bonus that the windows could be opened if only a little. Very comfy beds and plenty of power points and ironing board and iron provided.
Bad dining experience - overpriced poor quality food.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. When we first arrived the reception staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the room. We enjoyed the leisure facilities, along with the food in the restaurant and the bar. Will definitely go back again.

Booked for one night only as we were in Leeds for the James blunt concert at the First Direct Arena. Booked the Village Spa Hotel via the internet in advance. Have to say our stay was great, staff very friendly and helpful. We only had chance to have a meal and drink in the bar area before heading off for our concert. Unfortunately we didn't get chance to use the gym or spar but next time maybe.

Bathroom is an accident waiting to happen with no bath mat, no support bar, an inadequate shower screen and a steep step up into the shower. As a result I slipped on the wet floor as I was getting out of the shower and broke my arm. Also paramedics got lost in the hotel as they were lookimg for the room bacause the hotel was short staffed and there was no map availlable for them .
