We stay here to visit family as we live in Edinburgh, always clean and friendly with an excellent breakfast. Close to motorway and ideally situated to travel to surrounding areas with ease. We will be back again next year

Stayed over on a Sunday night with added two course meal and breakfast. A great deal but the dessert menu had three choices, one of which was unavailable (which was the one I would have chosen). Asked for main menu and was told that would be another £6.50. Decided to choose one of the two desserts offered which the pudding was good but supported by one teaspoon of ice cream (half melted) in a chipped ramekin.

Super friendly staff and very helpful and welcoming. Stayed on a Friday night and choose an upper deck room as it came with tassimo coffee machine but bit disappointed to find that the capsules included were 2xtea, 2xdecaff and 2xblack with 4 milk containers - waste of time really as the black was so strong it needed all the milk to make it taste of anything - otherwise a nice room just a little dark and cramped - think the lamp behind the arm chair is unnecessary and would increase the space around the bed if removed. Verve grill is awful for dinner or breakfast don't waste your money on paying for these upfront - go into Morley you will get better and cheaper there especially if you are vegetarian!

Room nice, shower fab couldn’t work out the heating and the air con was noisy coming on early meaning you had to get up and turn it off, 2 pillows would be nice.
Staff lovely in hotel we decided against eating in restaurant after reading reviews went into town instead had a fantastic meal. First morning breakfast was nice but a lot of things needed topping up like glasses, orange juice, butter etc unfortunately the breakfast was pretty dire next day and cold, really would of been nice after spending last 2 nights of being often woken up by wedding guests throughout the night until 4:30 am to have had a nice breakfast to wake up to ): hotel nice though would come back in the hope that no wedding on that weekend and were unfortunately on same floor. Was a nice break away to relax now going home shattered to my kids!

We annually host a business awards dinner with over 180 people and monthly networking events at the Village Hotel, South Leeds. Over the past couple of years the venue has been fantastic food, food as expected and superb service from all the staff.
Even under tight deadlines and quick turnaround, Raf and his team are always on hand and nothing gets missed.
A huge thanks to them all, they work non-stop. A credit to the hotel and it's event space!
