We used the hotel as an overnight stay for the airport and booked as a package with parking at the airport the following day..
On arrival at the hotel the person on reception was very polite and friendly helping us to use the self check in.
The room was very clean with plenty of supplies of tea and coffee. We didn't use the restaurant but did have a drink in the bar which unlike most hotels was very reasonably priced and again the bar staff were friendly.
Most importantly we had a very comfortable nights sleep. The only slight negative is that you can hear quite a lot from the room next door, we didn't find it much of an issue as it went quiet around 11pm and as regular travellers we always have earplugs.
We checked out at 4am without any issues.
A very good start to our holiday and if we fly from Liverpool again we will definatley use this hotel again thank you.

The hotel itself was lovely
Nice reception and bar area
The room was comfortable and clean - I upgraded my room so I guess it was better than a standard room
The evening function was great
Staff food all good
The gym was a big disappointment- dirty and equipment old fashioned- no pt presence - the Gym area very untidy

Stayed here for a work related function. The rooms are dated, extremely basic and definitely not worth the money.
The evening function however, was great. Great food and great service. I’d go to a function there again but probably better staying in the near by Premier Inn.

had a lovely time, the room was outstanding and top comfort achieved. clean and tidy room, reception and outside. staff were very pleasant to me and helped me out with check in as I had no glasses.very happy with convenience too. will come back.

From the outside it looks like a lovely hotel, the bar area is nice and kept clean however the rooms are so outdated!
I checked in on the screen and then left to find my own room, the young girl had disappeared out the back !
The room:
The carpets look and feel tatty. Old fashioned lamp shades and head boards to the beds.
The bathroom had holes and filler in the sink unit and the tiles were very old.
Lots of tea, coffee and milk though which was nice.
A good large gym with plenty of machines.
Walls are quite thin so you can hear other guests conversations and tv.
Breakfast was rather busy they were struggling to restock glasses and food. I had to ask a few times regarding a hot drink, a glass, cutlery and napkins.
Also at the evening event the bar shut at 11:50 and we didn’t hear any one say last orders.
It was not what I expected for the price.
I was on a charity business trip with an evening event so didn’t have a choice of where to stay. If I had a choice for the price I would of stayed elsewhere.
Staff at checkout was helpful and Both meals were nice.
But other than that an average and expensive stay.
