Modern, clean and friendly hotel and the restaurant food for dinner and breakfast was very good. Swimming pool area with sauna steam and hot tub is also freat with the pool long enough for some proper lengths.

The rooms are a reasonable size and the beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are quite spacious but shower only (no bath). The rooms are modern and comfortable. Club rooms are the same rooms as standard so no different other than a few extras like Sky TV, bottled water and supposedly a more comfortable bed.

Faultless stay from the moment we checked in. Booked a club room. Worth it. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice. Pool and facilities really good. Hotel only 20 mins by train to London. 2 stations both only 5 mins away. Highly recommended for a fab hotel within easy reach of London

The Village hotel is very convenient for my business purposes but not a hotel I would revisit by choice. The rooms are minimalist, lacking basic amenities. They are only ever lightly cleaned The shower only offers a rain head, which makes showering, quickly, a challenge.

Am a regular visitor and overall the hotel is great. TV channels not working a order mix up at Pub Restaurant were the main negatives.
Spa facilities are very good and rooms comfortable. Main restaurant is very accommodating and chef is wonderful and will cater very well to vegan diets if you give them a bit of notice.
