Just checked in to this hotel in the 3 bedroom 3 bath suite. Long story short this place is disgusting from the moment you arrive. There seems to be no maintenance or housekeeping although they say there is.
Room doors are outside. They want to know what time you may arrive for no reason, the room was left what seemed like it was never inspected and the temperature in the room was basically an oven. If I selected an approximate arrival time shouldn't they give it an inspection and run the air conditioners? No standards.
Every wall is scraped or marked. There's even a wall with hand prints at the living room. The bath towels hanging is dirty and most of them are beige and not even white anymore with brown dots. Between the couch was crumbs of food and loose coins. Also a cigarette butt and things I don't know what it is. Balcony has cigarette butts too. All bedrooms has heavy dust and dirty walls. The room with the smallest bed has a coffee splash on the wall. I mean seriously even if I don't look at the damaged walls just the sanitation is horrible. The cups are all stained. The bedsheets has dots on them. The towels are dirty. Oh and I guess when you book this room it also comes with a baby reptile I think it's a lizard.
By the wall I called room service about 20 minutes ago as I'm still standing and waiting for them as I write this.
A definite do not book here. I don't know how it has a 4 rating. It's filthy the entire walk to the 25th floor and the elevators are heavy stained and basically a moving oven as well.
I gave it a shot but it was stupid. Go with a known brand that has a good reputation like the Hard Rock.
Currently waiting for Hilton's DoubleTree to be done so this place can finally be put to rest since the paying guest can't.

Get a family suit if you travel with large group, it has 2 room, 2 washroom, dining table and living room. Not very spacious but comfortable enough. Good facilities, great location and friendly staffs. The room is quite clean but pillow slightly too soft. Nice gym and swimming pool

Stayed at the three bedroom suite for four nights. Suite, rooms and it's bathrooms were well designed. Cupboards and drawers in the rooms were not well maintained, doors were hard to slide open to a point where 1 out of 2 doors on my cupboard couldn't be opened at all. Water temperature isn't consistent. Hot water is only available for the first 2 minutes of your shower. Toiletries we're decent. Cleanliness was good. Breakfast spread was decent. Coffee House staff were efficient. TV wasn't functioning all 5 days of the stay despite reminding the staffs. Rooms were made everyday and fresh towels everyday, kudos to the housekeeping staffs. Only 2-3 packets of coffee/tea available at the suite pantry though it's a suite for 6 pax. Gym was disappointing, limited equipments but they were well maintained. Outdoor parking was convenient provided it doesn't rain as you don't need to walk far. Overall, a pretty decent stay.

The rooms are just ok, but not so right for the price.
Problem is the location is I the middle of nowhere and it's impossible to find an honest taxi in the area, and more than that the hotel staff is not helping to get away from scams from the taxi drivers, and in the contrary seems to be helping the taxis to scam their clients.

The apartment suite for 6 pax is worth it. Very comfortable and very near to town for shopping and near to many restaurants. Its took minutes away from the Georgetown area and about 15min to Balik Pulau, the village scene on Penang Island where you can view the beautiful padi field, beach and malay village
