As a trade i’v stayed in a few places, this restaurant is very expensive for its meals but the staff were absolutely fabulous and fun to talk too. the breakfast buffet wasn’t good anemic sausages, grease dripping over cooked bacon, the scrambled eggs cardboard and tasteless, mushrooms again over cooked, horrible. the front staff in the morning were very nice but looking over into the kitchen the cook (not going to call her a chief) looked as if she just didn’t want to be there, no love in the breakfast at all.
The front desk staff of the hotel very nice with a quick checkin and checkout. The room I had was well out dated especially the bathroom, the pool area great. Wouldn’t stay there as a family group. Sorry.

As the title says, we didn't expect as good value as that received.
I had probably overlooked that breakfast was included but it was also just right; simple and straightforward thanks, don't change it!
A nice sit out area, decent pool, adequate parking... city centre? Good stuff! Thanks

We spent 5 nights here and had a normal double room. Bed was comfortable and as other reviewers have said, room gets tidied every 2nd day. It was convienient to access Mindil markets and the city. The city is about a 20 minute walk, but because of the high humidity it seems a lot longer! It is fine in the evenings. As we did not have a room with cooking facilities we had to walk into town for meals. The Motel does not have facilities for ordering food. Breakfast was pretty simple, some fruit, cereal, bread/toast tea and coffee.
Our room backed onto the laundry facilities and some nights we had a problem with guests wanting to do their laundry at nearly midnight and making a 'racket' as well!
The staff are all very pleasant and helpful.
I would stay here again, but probably use a suite with a kitchen. Eating out in Darwin is very very expensive! Most of the tour companies pick you up from the Motel.

Stayed the first week of September in a Suite apartment 322 on top floor of front bldg not the cheaper Studio room in separate block. It comprised of kitchen large bathroom & bedroom with balcony. I found it to be a fantastic location as I was not driving. Also all the tour groups picked up from here. The room was sparkling clean & serviced every 2nd day. it was very quiet & the air condition worked perfectly plus also had quiet ceiling fan. Ok it is not 4/5star & has outdated furniture fittings but looked newly painted. however it is reasonably cheap compared to other accommodation in Darwin. It prob not everyones cupatea but it suited me perfectly as all I was wanted was a clean place to cook dinner & sleep & in a comfortable bed .. no sleepless nights after up early & all day sightseeing. They do serve a breakfast but as all my days were very early starters I did not make it there so cannot comment. They also have a nifty system for guests arriving on the midnight flights.
I will definitely be staying here next time I visit Darwin.

This motel is very conveniently located. We spent two nights here recently. The staff members were good and the room was ok. The mattress on our first stay was due for replacement, but the tarif was very reasonable. The studios are more comfortable.
