This is a good hotel for stay. Although rooms are small but they are comfortable. They have two restaurants and both serve good food. One serves authentic maharashtrian food. Service is good. It slightly higher priced compared to the facilities and type of rooms but good for stay.

Stayed a week in the Vivanta Blue Diamond in Pune India. The hotel location is great for central Pune and about 20 minutes from the airport.
Check-in/out straight forward. Rooms clean and comfortable, especially liked the shower in the bathroom. Rooms have pretty much the standard equipment you'd expect from this type of hotel.
Service from the hotel staff is excellent as you would expect from the Taj, nothing is too much trouble. The floor manager Sunil was especially helpful. If you want something simply ask and they'll do their best to get it for you.
We also ate at the two restaurants in the hotel (Indian and Chinese). The food is excellent and would recommend a visit to either one.
If you're visiting Pune India, and undecided on a hotel, I would recommend the Taj Blue Diamond.

We celebrated my mom's birthday dinner in one of their private rooms on November 2nd.
We worked with Mr. Hashim Abbasi to select the room, decide on the menu items, and to work through the other details for the event.
Mr. Hashim ensured that the evening was just perfect. He made excellent food recommendations and even made some last minute additions. He was available throughout the evening, and the service was top nautch.
The food was perfect as always.
A big thank you to Mr. Hashim and team for making my mother's 70th birthday special. We will definitely come back to the Taj for future events.

We had stayed in this property on 8th and 9th Oct 2017. We were a group of 8 people with a Kid. Since we had been traveling for past 1 week, we were carrying a lot of luggage. The check-in was very smooth and hassle free. We were given welcome drink on arrival. We had booked a half-board plan being a Taj inner circle member. As we were checking out the next day afternoon, we had requested them for dinner instead of the lunch next day, to which they obliged. We were famished due to our trip, we immediately came down for dinner. Being a weekend, their restaurant was full. But the restaurant manager was prompt and did not make us wait too much. Coming to the food, it was one of the biggest spreads available. The food was amazing and we enjoyed it a lot.
The rooms were spacious and well maintained. The staffs, ambiance as well as their attitude were a symbol of Taj’s excellence and we were a happy patron of Taj. Definitely recommend this wonderful property and would definitely come back during my next visit to Pune.
