Its hospitality at its best. As told, its a huge 45-acre property and has all the amenities that you need for a relaxing getaway - including for families with children. The best part is its bang on a beautiful beach but the beach itself was quite dirty. Asking around, we were told that its temporary thing due to some construction activities nearby. I hope its true, else a dirty beach would take away a lot of charm from the property. Apart from that, it was a perfect stay. Not to forget - the yum food. Wonderful!!

We arrived quite late in the day at this hotel and we were literally whisked to our accommodation without stepping foot in Reception which we thought odd.We were booked into a Premium Temptation Villa which was lovely and spacious and very comfortable, it had a garden complete with sunbeds and a table and chairs and faced onto the beach. It looked perfect.
When we walked up to the main hotel we realised why we had been rushed to our villa - the whole of the upstairs of the main building was being renovated and the noise could be heard everywhere. We later realised that the villa next door to ours was also being renovated and noticed during the day that the odd work person was walking across our garden - so much for privacy!
The hotel is set in beautiful gardens and has a lovely swimming pool but don't try relaxing here because the noise from all the work is deafening! There are lovely sunbeds but crawling in red ants which we didn't see and consequently got bitten to pieces which we were cross about as we had toured Southern India with any being bitten at all!
Our villa did face the beach and we decided to take a walk along it. We didn't get too far as near the neighbouring village there was rubbish all over the beach and in the sea - it was ghastly. I noticed at night that there were folk trawling through this rubbish along with stray dogs! On wandering around the hotel grounds we further noticed that some of the smaller villas actually faced on to the beach so literally had rubbish outside their door!
The hotel has two restaurants - we ate on three occasions at the seafood restaurant and the food was fabulous - beautiful fresh red mullet and lots of lobster dishes. You can view your meal being prepared in the open kitchen. We did try and book a table at The Upper Deck but it was being used for a private function.

Resort was very nice, and staff were very attentive without being over the top. Was very pleased that I wasn't be asked by staff constantly to provide good feedback for them by name like some other places I stayed. Food was great, I highly recommend the seafood, and the kulfi.

Really loved the place and location. They also have some of the best restaurants in Chennai. Great service from Edwin, Hari, Kannan, Akshay and the whole team. Awesome management led by Souvik - very nice and courteous.

That's where it kinda stops. This is a 3 star hotel. I have no doubt at some stage it was 5* and might be 5* in the future. But it is not without any doubt 5 star accommodation currently. We could not get to our rooms without getting soaking wet. The drainage is terrible so had to go barefooted. Breakfast was ok but they had too many people staying there for the amount of seating available. We left and had to come back. The pool area is in need of dire repair. The gardens need to be maintained to a higher standard if they want this place to be 5*. It is priced 5* and it should be priced 3.5* at the most. I would not stay here again and would not recommend. To be candid if this place was not priced as it is, I would not have a problem but it is NOT. The service at the hotel was good not great not bad but good. Sorry guys pick up your act or lower your prices. I would come out to the restaurant called the Upper Deck.
