I had been for my friend's wedding to Lucknow. Though the stay hotel for wedding was different, I decided to stay at taj for a day to let my wife and child get a 5 star experience.
The hotel made my stay memorable. The staff found my child cute and surprised us with a cake a days chocolate when we arrived back from shopping. They always kept a tab on our movements and cleaned our room and filled it with fruits whenever we had been out. Without any special request, the staff gave us a swimming pool facing room.
The hotel area is amazing. Rooms fantastic. Added advantage, u don't feel the crowd. Best advantage is the presence of a mall at a 5 minutes walking distance.
Value for money. Just a small suggestion- the hotel should make the breakfast complimentary.

This was our third visit to the hotel in last 20 years. Its always a great experience to stay at Taj, whatever the location be. Courteous staff, service with smile and excellent food make any traveller's trip enjoyable.
Taznim was extra-ordinary.

I visited this hotel with my family for a party . The staff, service, hygiene, and quality was awesome and the location of this hotel in the city is also very nice it is surrounded with lot of places to visit that made our time quite good.

Like all properties of Taj, the Taj Vivanta too has hospitable, helpful staff. It is the little bit extra that they put in which no other 5 star can ever match up to.
The rooms were spacious, clean and had a nice balcony that would open to a garden view. They have lush gardens and nice pool to relax in.
However, we did not enjoy the breakfast much. The croissants were a let down. Also, they need to improve their spa services.

We had a 3 nights stay at Vivanta Gomtinagar. The property is one of the best of Vivanta I suppose due to the old architecture and sheer size of it. The room was very comfortable opening up over the swimming pool which was another great place to spend time in. The garden surrounding the property was well maintained. Although a bit of renovation is underway, the guests are not inconvenienced. The hallway and the dome is unique. the live performer of musical instrument such as flute during the early morning hours was so rejuvenating. Breakfast at Sahib Cafe has huge spread. So was the Oudhyana, an experience worth remembering. Tastefully done up interior with equally tasty flairs. A classy and quite a pampering vacation one can have here. The hotel stuff who ever we interacted was so nice and attentive to all nitty-gritties. Special mention for Mr Shubham Prakash, Catering Assistant who always taken interest in understanding our need and struck great conversation on Awadhi cuisine.
