It was an amazing stay. We had a huge suite to stay in. We spent two nights along with friends. One of them fell sick. The hotel staff were so helpful - got a doctor, bought him medicines etc. Strongly recommend!
Amazing experience!

We stayed here for 2 nights in September.
Pros:
1. Very friendly and helpful staff
2. neat and clean resort with decent rooms
3. local group that performs rajasthani folk music is outstanding
Cons:
1. Lodge type rooms, not very luxurious.
2. Small swimming pool
3. Average food.
Overall we had a great stay here and enjoyed our safaris. But book the safaris directly with the forest department as that is much cheaper than the rates offered by the hotel.

We visited Taj at Ranthambore from 28th Oct to 30th Oct, 2017. I must say 2 nights were not enough. The property is lovely. well kept and has a lot of culture. One feels like they are taken back in time. The gardens and the lounges are beautiful. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean and well maintained.
The hospitality is something I must say was amazing. The GM- Mr. Devendra, Sachin , Nityanand and all the Resto staff made sure our stay was comfortable. They went out of their way to accommodate us and our needs. The safaris were booked by them for us in advance and they are worth going for. The food was delicious and fresh. The fresh eggs for breakfast and hand made parathas were excellent. The village ladies making fresh rotis was really amazing. There was just about enough variety to cater to everyone tastes. The evening live music was delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance.
A big thank you to all for making our stay so comfortable. Shalld definately be going back again.
If there was a higher rating, I would give it.

What's not to like? Fabulous hotel - a restored hunting lodge of the Maharajah now servicing wildlife enthusiasts who only wish to take the perfect (camera) shot! Rooms were comfortable, bathrooms were sumptuous, the kids loved it (especially rides on Badal the camel), food was yummy. But to me what stood out was anticipating our needs more than expected: we had a booking on a canter (which is not the best way to see the park); the GM of the property took a lot of trouble and went above and beyond to secure us a Gypsy ride for our next safari. Given that we had a mother and cub sighting with that, what more could we ask for? Will come back and would not dream of staying anywhere else.
Great place!

Our second stay at this place in Sawai Madhopur, and Vivanta by Taj was as good as ever. Great food, smiling staff and beautiful rooms, it's indeed a pleasure to stay here. The food in particular is superb and I would give it seven stars of I could. Will return!
