We loved our room- just to let you know they are all different, and ours was quirky but we didn't mind. The bath tub was enormous and right in the middle of the room- we could both fit in it and had a great soak after a very long flight from the U.S. The bed is king size, even though the web site is difficult to understand when it comes to bed sizes. There was a small fridge and champagne and water.
The breakfast was fine and included with the rate. The gal who works the breakfast didn't want to be bothered. It was hard to get a cup of coffee made. This could have been a language barrier issue. We would have liked there to be coffee at the buffet, but instead you had to wait around to get her attention and she would not come back to check and offer anything else.
The manager finally warmed up to us when we were leaving- giving us a big hug. Again, he didn't speak a lick of English, so he had never really greeted us or talked to us until the end of our 2 night stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel

This was certainly one of our best hotel experience we've ever had in Italy!
The staff -although maybe somewhat old-fashioned in our northern European eyes- was very friendly and helpful.
The room was spotless clean and the bed was comfortable. Be prepared though, for a somewhat unusual room layout. The shower area was separated from the bed room by a transparent glass window, great when travelling with your partner, but definitely not in other situations.
The breakfast was adequate but not elaborate: bear in mind though that a typical Italian breakfast is usually nothing more than a espresso and a sweet pastry.
Arezzo is great to use as a base from which to explore the surrounding beautiful villages like Anghiari and Cortona. We even managed to do that without the use of a car: the buses run regularly and are mostly very reliable.

For an overnight stop in Arrezzo, this centrally located hotel was fine & we would stay here again simply for this reason as it's a stone's throw from the historic old town. The staff are great, very helpful but I mark it down on the dated decor; it's an eclectic mix of furnishings (lots of dark brown wood) bizarre murals & critic defying art. I found the overall effect rather sombre & depressing, far from the romantic image portrayed on their website. Our bedroom was vast, as was the corridor-like bathroom. There was no door between the two which wasn't very practical, although there was a door to the separate loo. No loo roll holder within arm's reach of the actual toilet, average toiletries. Sleep quality wasn't bad, the inclusive buffet breakfast simply adequate. We were lucky to park right outside, as parking is limited. Top marks though to the receptionist who booked us in for one of the best meals of the holiday at Antica Fonte.

Only a short walk away from the historic centre of Arezzo. Room was very large and quirky (the bath is located behind a glass divide behind the bed!). Wifi worked fine. We didnt try the breakfast at the hotel so dont know how it is. There is a public carpark nearby.

The hotel is charming with the wooden ceiling, the open bathtub, and the overall deco. It could suit a couple 's weekend getaway.Breakfast is decent. Management is friendly and efficient. I Stayed there on a business trip to attend OroArezzo exhibition. Shutlle bus is around the corner.
