What People are saying

Great location with great food and service

TigersQB on 01/10/2017 22:18

Ate here with my wife and parents-in-law on a lovely late September evening. Atmosphere, the food, service and drinks were all great at very reasonable prices. No need to reserve a table and we could even take the pooch. Father-in-law who is generally miserable about anything other than the campsite restaurant actually loved it....must be good 😀

Great view, staff or facilities not so great

Claireann23 on 10/08/2017 09:52

When we arrived went to our rooms to discover air conditioning wasn't working, no information was forth coming and were just told tomorrow 4 days later it was fixed was not offered a fan water, or to change hotel as in the height of summer we wouldn't of booked a hotel with out air conditioning after speaking to the manager who told me to speak to him tomorrow but then avoided us on our last day when we saw the manager he told to come back to log our complaint at 4pm when someone was there to translate but the manager had gone home and no-one else could deal with it.

Some of the staff in the restaurant are hostile not hospitable the tables are never set and you have to ask for anything like a knife and a folk it's like you've asked for them to cook you a full on Sunday dinner, very little choice of food if you don't like fish.

You have to pay for the use of the fridge that's locked in a cupboard in your room, rooms are very cramped if like us you had 3 people sharing,

The swimming pool is about 300m away and quite small for the amount of hotels using it, you can never get a sun bed as people leave there towels there all day but don't use it.

On the plus side great location, view and clean rooms.

Excellent breakfast table, very friendly staff, room OK

One of the best parts of this hotel is the fact that it is placed exactly on the beach; the rooms with view towards the seaside are real 'rooms with a view'. For those getting a first floor room, there might be a slight un-comfy feeling of having people at the restaurant basically just in front of your room. The breakfast is excellent: it had fresh orange juice and a variety of fresh fruits, plus both salty and sweety goods. The clerks are very friendly and willing to help and speak many languages. Room has a reasonable size and has been in a reasonably good shape being given the age of the hotel. The Wifi was free and working very good in my room.

to have peace of mind

the hotel is sitting on the beach, when they say sea view they mean it, you can eat your meals in the front of the restaurant which is right at the front looking out to sea. the food is of a good standard and the staff friendly, the English spoken in the town is limited as it is very traditional Spanish, this was one of the main reasons my wife and I loved it so much. coming out from the back of the hotel you are straight on to the pronominal, it is a very pleasant walk to see all the more traditional town villas and people watch. the whole area is very clean and there are some nice restaurants up the main street. we had a lovely 3 days stay before we move into a villa on the edge of town for a week.

We had started our trip from Barcelona,we had stayed in the old town up at the top of the city in the suites hotel, then drove down to Benicasim, while staying here we took the train to Valencia and had a lovely day, and at the end of the holiday we drove back up to Barcelona to fly home.
