Very welcoming and friendly receptionists, rooms were quite, warm and spotless. Could do with some home touches like pictures on the wall, but did what it said on the box. Bed was fine pillows were a little too hard for my liking but that is being very picky. I would definitely stay again.

Great space, good value for money. Beautifully decorated room. The room was very clean and tidy, and in a nice quiet part of the hotel. I'm so pleased with how great everything turned out. Front desk staff were very kind and welcoming, and made us feel great about our stay.

Awesome deal for price & with breakfast included. Room was clean, modern and service was pleasant and helpful. The only let down was the off street parking with small car parks and hard to get out of your car without having to breath in!! Would still definitely recommend this place to stay.

Amazing value and comfort,with a generous delicious breakfast,served by delightful waitress.the location was perfect ,especially as we were going to the theatre,we couldn't fault it and certainly recommend to friends

We didn't have a booking in Napier but reviews of this property were good so we decided to try it. From the moment we walked in the receptionist,Natalia, was very friendly and welcoming. She showed us 2 rooms and we chose the studio with balcony because it was spacious, had a Kingsize bed, leather couch and outlook over the park. Don't be fooled by the plain exterior as the hotel was completely renovated earlier this year and everything is new and clean. We are keen photographers so the location was perfect to explore the Art Deco precinct on foot and short walk to the waterfront to photograph the sunrise.The free eggs and bacon breakfast next door at Portafino was delicious and we had a lovely dinner there the first night. The bathroom is basic with small shower (compared to the luxury and space of the rest of the room) and there is no holder for soap or shampoo in the shower - just a minor complaint.
