Beautiful Mansion and Delicious Breakfast
Alice565on 10/11/2017 13:54We had a wonderful one-night stay at the Vrooman Mansion! It is a historic treasure and the rooms are well appointed. The hospitality of the staff was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. We plan to return when we're in Bloomington/Normal.
Elegance meets Down home friendliness
Anne725on 28/09/2017 18:59My husband and I stayed here two nights to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in the Carl Vrooman suite. As we arrived, we received a tour from one of the employees. Even though she was not the owner, she was amazing and very knowledgeable concerning the history of the mansion. We loved having the sitting room and claw foot tub in our suite and would rent this suite again. The breakfasts were those that a chef would send out and after the first morning, left us anxiously anticipating the breakfast for the second morning. On the last evening, we were able to have a very enjoyable chat with one of the owners. His love for this incredible piece of our history is admirable and we are very thankful that he is not only maintaining this lovely mansion, but opening it up for us to enjoy. We would absolutely stay here again!
A perfect B&B

We really enjoyed the opening tour, found our room beautiful, and were very impressed with the quality of the breakfast--I'm sure at all the B&Bs I've stayed at in the US and UK, I've never been offered a fancier one! We dearly hope we have the opportunity to stay at the Vrooman again on a future visit to Bloomington.
A historical overnight stay
thisispulp2017on 30/08/2017 19:25We stayed in the Julia Vrooman Suite during our visit. Upon arriving later that evening, we were warmly received by our hostess and was given a wonderful tour of the mansion. The room was comfortable and well maintained; really clean. I loved the old historical feel of the mansion, and there are a lot of cool artifacts that are kept in good condition. The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. We stayed there when it was pretty full and had such a wonderful experience meeting the other guests. I hope that we can make it back there again.

piekaloon 23/08/2017 12:44We loved our stay at Vrooman Mansion. We stayed in the carriage house and couldn't have been happier with our choice. We are early risers so it was great to get up, make a pot of coffee, and sit in the screened in porch. The mansion is beautifully restored and was interesting to tour. The owners/staff were very knowledgeable and freely shared info about the property and the area.
