Stayed for two nights in one of the suites on the 7th floor. Have to say the room was fantastic! Huge bed, even bigger sofa and loved the quilted closet look and totally open space (warning if you like your privacy!). The toilet and shower are the only things behind (mirrored) doors in the room but this was perfect for me and hubby and the couple we had join us as we ordered room service and had drinks in what was a very sociable and roomy space.
Only complaint is the dark hallways and ground floor entrance. Otherwise very nice and clean hotel

Stayed with another couple on their recommendation, they being fans of the W brand having frequented various locations around the world. Big emphasis on modern design, in the public areas and rooms. I wasn't a big fan of the washing facilities being located in the bedroom rather than separate however my wife was. The basic requirement of any hotel of providing a good night sleep was satisfied with the bed being very comfortable and the room quiet.
The only glitch in the stay was that we thought we were staying on a bed and breakfast basis, our friend having booked as such on our behalf. At checkout the hotel insisted this was not the case and our friend ended up paying for the breakfasts with the promise that there would be an investigation. At the time of writing this review I'm not sure of the outcome.
This aside the W is perfectly located for the West End, beautifully appointed and staffed by professional, friendly people. Might just want to double check your board basis at time of check in.

Having my 4th time at this hotel i always have the big dilemma choosing st martin lane ( great hotel btw) or the w. As spg member i used to the high quality service of the network.
Lately i found out its not standardized.. arriving at 15:00 after 12 hours traveling, after myself being late just to find out no rooms are available!! Unbelievable. I hope you guys just take this into consideration

I've stayed here twice, once in a Screening Suite and once in a Fabulous Room. Both times I was impressed with the facilities - both public and private. The location can't be beat, you feel like you're in the center of things and it's in between Leicester Square and Piccadilly tube stops. For being in the hustle and bustle, it's surprisingly quiet. Service was also great! Can't wait until I can stay again.

My husband and I had a great time during our stay in London. The location of this hotel is great for theater and major sites. I thought check-in was very well done. I was disappointed in the "whatever" or concierge service. I called in advance to ask some questions and didn't feel the service was great. We talked to "whatever" while we were there and felt that was the amount of attention we got. The rooms are super unique. Nice size and very clean. Overall
