W Hotel has truly left my partner and I speechless. From the moment we arrived the hotel staff were so attentive. All the staff work so hard but there are a few that really stood out for us. Supattra was so amazing ensuring all our needs were always covered. My partner proposed to me during our stay which was a total surprise. Supattra and her staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect with decorating our room while we were gone, writing a hand written card and from that day congratulating us. Ice and Nong from Woo bar are incredible, we felt like home and they truly took their time to talk to us and ensure all needs were met. Kit and King have infectious smiles, you can't help to smile and feel happy when they are around. Their memory was unbelievable! The food and beverage is on another level, so creative and induced with so much flavour. W have really taken hospitality to a new level and I truly recommend for everyone to come test it out for yourself. You are always greeted by name, offered water and cold towels and they always have special complimentary drinks on offer. Every expectation has been met and more that couldn't of even been imagined. Great work W Hotel, Matt and I will certainly be back, thanks again for making our proposal so special. This holiday will truly never be forgotten.

My friend and I only had two nights to spend here, but after having visited other W Hotels around the world, we can both say that this is our favorite W Destination. The staff's professionalism and standards of excellence are unmatched by anyone in the business.
The rooms were stunning and clean. The talented staff catered to our every need. They always knew my name and happily greeted me every day at every location in the retreat. We truly enjoyed our experience at the W Koh Samui Retreat, and I have every intention of trying to get back there again. This staff and their service are second to none.

I joined a friend's wedding celebration at the W Retreat Koh Samui in late May. This is a breathtaking location, with the immediate Wow factor as soon as you walk through the entrance and see the amazing floating bar and pictureseque seascape in the background.
The wedding ceremony was spectacular in this setting, and the reception was held in one of the amazing private villas, with a huge infinity pool and private fireworks later in the night.
Food and drink was to the usual W standard, that is to say, perfect.
Overall, I would (and have!) recommend the W Retreat Koh Samui as an amazing venue to hold a wedding celebration that you & your guests will remember forever!

Just spent 4 nights at W Retreat Koh Samui and we found the hotel wonderful. Top notch room and breathtaking beach. My 2 year old was very happy to find toys to play with on the beach and unlimited ice-cream at the Sweet Spots scattered around the retreat. We really enjoyed the fitness classes offered throughout the day and the yummy breakfast. Fantastic smiley service from all staff. Hoping to be back soon!

I spent 7 nights at the W Koh Samaui in February, on the back of three weeks at a fitness retreat. My goal was to continue the fitness regime but with a bit of luxury. I cannot praise all of the talent at the W for making my stay both comfortable and enjoyable, whilst helping me maintain my goals. The executive chef met me upon arrival and took me through the special paleo menu that he had prepared, adhering to my strict no-carb, no-sugar dietary requirements and all of the staff had been informed of my needs - sadly, this included the bar staff and on the few times that I really craved a break, they would insist that I continue the good work, providing me a non-alcoholic, zero sugar cocktail instead.
Their fitness centre and activities were exceptional and as the resort was occupied mainly by honeymooners and couples, I did not encounter another guest making each session a private one-on-one with the trainers / instructors.
The WOW Jungle room was on the hill and provided private sea views from the pool and bathroom. The sound system was one of the best I have encountered in a hotel / resort and given the location of the room, I was able to turn it all the way up without disturbing the other guests.
The beach BBQ was well worth the experience and I highly recommend it.
There is also a free shuttle bus that will take you into Chaweng and back, however they were more than happy to drop me at the main road along the way and even take me further than Chaweng after dropping the other guests off.
I will definitely stay there again and will go with my partner next time - the whole set up at the W Koh Samui can make for a very secluded and private experience.
