This upscale hotel flaunts its designer credentials and is very much "on trend".
For us however it seemed a rather lifeless and impersonal home for our stay in Seattle. We weren't greeted as people but as commodities. The lobby self consciously sets a crisp style which felt rather heartless and unwelcoming. Rooms are large but dull, the bathroom is of course spotless - but the shower water pressure surprisingly weak. Wifi is an expensive commodity here ($14.95 a day) an unwelcome "extra" especially bearing in mind the high tariff. OK - but a venue to enjoy or lift the spirits....

I was given a room on the 4th floor directly looking into a parking garage. The noise was terribly loud and I was not able to get a good nights sleep. Awoken constantly by banging, car alarms, and other noise from the street. Also, the hotel does NOT have MSNBC, the only channel I watch - so the TV was useless. However they did have RT for Russian Propaganda, if you're into that. Not worth the $500 per night at all. I basically paid that much to sleep next to a parking garage in a loud, mediocre room.

The room was straight out of Cosmo. My teenager thought she was in heaven. I loved enjoying a book on the chaise lounge.
The cocktails in the lounge were creative and very delicious. It reminded me of the Cosmo in Las Vegas. I would definitely go for drinks again. My teenager was dismayed that the internet was $15 a day and that she had to be wireless free for a night.

Only managed one night here before travelling on to Vancouver. Very comfortable room on 23rd floor with great views. Welcoming check in but early start next morning so limited comments but would stay here again if in Seattle. Front desk very helpful...even found me the only Starbucks open at 8.30pm on a Sunday night!

I will never stay at this hotel again. The service was dreadful. I was shocked to be treated so badly at a fairly pricey hotel.
I requested a cab from the front desk and they told me to just use uber. I don't want to use uber, I dislike that company. When I lodged a complaint, they said they are partnered with uber and it is their policy to not call a cab. But I'm the paying guest. But they don't care. I repeat, they don't care. Never again.
