Dissapointing
Steve Ton 18/09/2017 14:17The Hotel is in need of updating throughout. There was a strong smell of dogs in our room when we arrived so the cleaner had left all the windows open. During the early evening it was quite chilly, the car temperature readout was only 9 degrees, and the heating in the room wasn`t working. We explained this to the manager and asked for a portable heater. The manager was not helpful and said the heating in the hotel only comes on in November and no other heating was available. He just kept saying "it`s not possible". We had one of the worst night we have ever had in a hotel and we would definitely not stay there again and could not recommend it to anyone. Because of the experience at the hotel, it ruined our stay in Bressanone.
Cozy night at a reasonable price
Louise Hon 06/03/2017 22:19We have been here for more than nine years now - one night each year on the way to Canazei and skiing. At Waldheim Belvedere we always get good service, tidy rooms, and a cozy night in the restaurant. And most importantly, the pizzas are GREAT! Real Italian made. Everyone loves them - from age 10 to age 60.
Only negative point to be made is the breakfast. It's really not that interesting: Semmel, fruit yogurt, cheese, ham, jam, and coffee. That's it.

siri hon 22/05/2016 09:25A nice place with a beautiful view . The food is good ( except for the tiramisu ) , and the breakfast is excellent :):) . 45 minutes to walk from the railwaystation - if you are sporty !
Bressanone is a beautiful city , I would love to come back !!!
Lovely hotel & owners
Mona77on 03/04/2015 15:39I stayed at Waldheim for a short break during Christmas time, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is located just outside Brixen, the building and decorations are in the typical Südtirol style, looking really nice with their light colours and wooden parts. The property is simple at the end, but it's rich of little details that makes you enjoy your stay there. My room had a big, comfortable bed and a sofa, a balcony with a great view on the mountains and lots of space. Also the bathroom was spacious and really clean. The hotel is run by a family who really cares of it and welcomes guests with the lovely hospitality of this region. Special mention, from a cat lover, to the beautiful big red cat who often sleeps peaceful at the reception. We had also dinner at the restaurant. The menu offers a lot typical dishes of Südtirol and also pizzas. I went for "Knödel" with cheese sauce that were really delicious. Breakfast was very tasteful, too, rich in variety and of good quality. I would love to go back for sure... highly recommended!!!
Quiet place
tchebion 09/05/2014 13:37Quiet little hotel located on the hills near the city of Bressanone. We had the room with the large balcony on the first floor. The hotel is a bit old, but you have what you need : large queen bed, enough space in the room, bathroom with shower. Hotel is managed by a family, you can feel the atmosphere. Breakfast is a bit poor but ok, dinners are quite good and prices are correct. Very good place for a quiet stay.
