Hotel is beautiful but the staff really makes it. They are very accommodating and helpful. Location is great. House car is a nice perk, and the staff refuses tips which was nice because we did not have to carry cash. Great Stay! We will be back.

Exceptional service, staff, rooms and location. We came for a one night trip to Chicago and found the hotel to be excellent on every level and we would Highly recommend a stay there for anyone - whether business or pleasure.

Maybe we have high expectations, but we were disappointed with the room and amenities. We stayed in the basic 1 King Room, and many of the photo's I saw online must've been in the suite. It was a smaller room than we expected. This was our first night away since we had a baby a year ago, so were also looking forward to swimming and a hot tub. The pool was a lap pool already packed and the hot tub was under construction. Almost everything that could go wrong did unfortunately. Not to mention the neighbors had a dog, which surprised me at this level of hotel, and we in an out frequently throughout the night/early morning.

Stayed with a few friends for a spa weekend. The hotel courtyard is a pleasant surprise once you drive in. The service is impeccable. The location could not be better- a little off of busy Michigan Ave, but still in the heart of shopping.

We recently stayed at this property and it does not disappoint. Not 5 stars specifically because of the restaurant. The service there was not up to par with other Michael Mina locations.
The Waldorf itself was amazing
