Found a good no-cancel rate at the Washington Metro Center. Hotel was typical Marriott and in great shape. Lobby has a fully functional Starbucks concierge lounge was decent. But what really stood out was the staff. From the front desk to the Starbucks to the restaurant and specially the bar we had friendly helpful staff. Our bartender Yodit not only makes a mean manhattan but also would go out of her way to move some single seats at the bar so we could sit. Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Also hotel was walking distance to downtown. Mind you a half mile or so but still not bad. But also convenient to the metro in case you wanted to skip the added steps on your Fitbit or Iwatch.

For a business related trip for four days, I chose this hotel from a list of suggested options and was happy I decided on the Washington Marriott at Metro Center. Its downtown location made it easy to walk and explore the city in all directions. The various restaurants offerings made the stay even more pleasant. Having the Metro station close by allowed for quick access to areas further away - including the Reagan National Airport for quite the deal!

We stayed one night before heading to Annapolis for a wedding. The hotel is in a great location and close to monuments, shopping and restaurants. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Employees were friendly and nice.
We would stay again; nothing negative to state. Nothing over-the top either.

Great place to stay. Rooms where clean and has a great location. Close to the Metro Center and at walking distance from China Town, the White House and Museums. Friendly staff. Close to restaurants. I would definitely go back if I visit DC again.

Hotel was clean and comfy and staff were lovely. Great location, well withing walking distance of the National Mall, eateries and shopping areas. Very much enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay there again.
