Stayed at the Waterloo House 4 nights recently. Ballsbridge location is in the embassy section of town. Safe, quiet, with neighborhood places to eat and shop, you feel like you are living as a local. Good for a solo traveler. Great breakfast and helpful staff arranging taxis and printing boarding passes. Walked to and from hotel from off air coach stop from Dublin airport. My top floor room was well furnished with good sized bathroom. I walked to the city center. The hotel contributed to an overall great visit to Dublin.

We stayed at Waterloo House for four nights in October. It was easy to get to via the air coach from the Dublin Airport. Jean and Kate were charming hosts, and the kitchen-dining room support staff were always positive and friendly. Our room, while a bit small, was clean; the bed was luxurious; the bath with a shower was fine. The room faced the street, but on the top floor was quiet enough even with the window open. Breakfast was GREAT, and choices were plenty. We walked daily to and from the city center; the hop-on/hop-off bus was easy to get to. Several great local restaurants that cater to local neighbors are near by. We had a blast and loved being at the Waterloo.

We stayed in this nice B&B for two nights in September. The place surpassed our expetations ! The location is great for walking and public transportation a short ride
into the city. We were greated with a warm welcome and made to feel at home .Our room overlooked the back garden was super clean, nicely furnished, and quiet. At breakfast we were greeted with a good morning smile and were given a good selection of choices to start the day. A place for all the good reasons you will remember.

Nice to be out of town a bit. Quiet at night. Clean. Easy to public transport and food. Free parking an advantage.
The only negative was the rooms are small for the price especially for 3 people which almost doubled the price.

I had a lovely stay recently at this pleasant guesthouse located in a Georgian house on a quiet street. The house is within walking distance of St Stephen's Green. The room was of modest size but tastefully decorated. The bathroom was modern with a good size shower. The breakfast included a choice of warm & buffet options.
