I have spent 3 great days in Ramsau and can't recommend it highly enough. The delightful Hotel Lindenhof is tucked away at the end of a tree lined road and has the incredible mountains of the area as it's backyard. Great, friendly service with nice comfortable rooms. I want to come back in the winter and ski!

Perfect place to stay in Ramsau

Very nice family owned hotel and appartement house near to the Ramsay centre (15 minutes walking) located in quiet location with nice overview of the whole valley. Very nice spacy rooms and appartement, perfect services, very good food, small but nice and well equipped wellness (from 2017 even with outdoor heated swimming pool).
We stayed there twice in winter and had absolutely no problem, all services were perfect, staff nice and helpful, even the weather was nice :-)). We plan to visit again in summer, after reconstruction of hotel building it must be even better place to stay.

The hotel was perfect in every way, and very nicely accomodated our extended family (in three rooms). The meals were fantastic and lived up to all our expectations, especially all the fresh farm food (eggs and butter). The oversized room with sitting room, and balcony was well worth the extra cost, and made for an very enjoyable stay. The outdoor pool was fantastic for a quick swim after a day of hiking, and was a perfect place to relax on a hot day. The hotel is about a 15 min walk from the center of town, but a 5 min walk from the bus stop, and so very easy access to the bus up to the Dachstein valley station. An easy walk along the valley (on trails) allows easy access to sites along the Ramsau valley. The hotel has pleny of parking, and so driving/parking is very easy.

This is a well appointed hotel in a beautiful spot. It's just outside Ramsau village but an easy 10 minute walk. Lovely people, very friendly and the apartment we stayed in was spacious, cosy, comfortable. Where the Hotel lets itself down (for a 4 star) is the skinny little towels you are given. And the kitchen is pretty average. Convenient but really not that special and if you can be bothered, and eating is an important part of your holiday, find somewhere else.

Superb winter holiday

We have chosen this hotel for our winter holiday in mid December. All was great in this hotel - perfect room (we had bigger double room) with enough space, superb meals (good breakfast - cold stuff plus boiled eggs only, fantastic dinners - choise from 3 meals in the morning plus salad buffet, appetizer, soup, home made desserts, all really tasty), nice wellness (especially sauna - infrared sauna and steam bath quite small - we did not try swimming pool in neighbor hotel), location quite tranquil, in a slope above the Ramsau center (15-20min. walk), some 100m from official cross-country trail, service excellent. Both Ramsau and this hotel definitely recommendable.
