Stayed at a new property, 502 Beachfront Trail May 2017. House was nice but we had a lot of issues that caused a poor start to the vacation. The gas was turned off the first night we arrived so no showers and no way to cook dinner or breakfast the next day. With 3 year old twins this was a major issue. Also, the television system is a nightmare. Many nice tv's but you can't control the channels. It was bazaar. The TV in the master bedroom never worked. Only a blank screen. There was no place to sit in the master bedroom. Also, beach access is not as it appears on the map. It's quite a walk. You can't access the walkway near the house. You have to go around several units to find the beach access. On the positive side we enjoyed the pool. It is one of the nicest we have had. The house was very clean and the elevator made it very nice. Loved the kitchen amenities. First rate stove and fridge. The beds were great. The views from the balconies are awesome. It has a lot of potential but too many issues for that kind of money. To their credit they gave us a 15% credit against the cost. I think this place could be great once the kinks get worked out. d

Rented a large home for over $6000 for the thanksgiving week. Have done this in other locations so we have experience with what to expect. House was pretty and well located. BUT....filthy. Our feet were black after walking around the house. We all had to wear socks which were all black by the end of the day. Asked house keeping to come clean them and the showed up with a stiffer with a rag attached to it. And pushed it around the room. Stair hand rails were dirty and sticky. Kitchen counters were dirty. Not enough towels..as only bath towels very few hand and face towels. Refrigerator leaked puddles of water and the stove pilot light was broken. Only worked properly if all six burners were on. Ice maker didn't work. Leaked water all over the floor. Tried to call the front desk and phone rang forever with no answer on multiple occasions. Phone numbers for amenities provided in the house were all wrong so you couldn't call for help with tennis, bikes etc without calling front desk and they rarely answered. At the pool and beach there was inadequate food service. When at the beach you have to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get a drink and on Monday and Tuesday you need to go up another flight because the downstairs restaurant is closed. We were told amenities were included with the house club membership but had to pay to play tennis and $40 for every set of two chairs on the beach per day and we had six people. Couldn't even charge it to the room either because it is separately owned. So had to go back to the house to get a credit card. They have a room to get movie rentals and games. Movie was scratched and unviewable. Hardly any games to choose from but the games at the house were missing all the pieces.
Beach and sand are really pretty but the rest of the experience was lame and amateurish. Not used to this type of experience when paying this much. Oh...one more thing. When I called the day before to ask some questions I asked the girl on the phone how the weather was looking for the week - she answered impatiently that she didn't know and told me to "google it". Should have taken that as a clue for what was to come!

This is not a quality resort. Rather it's a half baked rental unit where you pay to inform them when things do not work and then you wait for them to fix them. 2 light bulbs took 23 hours to fix (3 are still out). The internet took well over 10 hours to reset. Forget talking to a Mgr unless you raise hell. There is no proactive quality control at all. Not a place o would visit again.

Last year we rented in Watersound from 360Blue and it was delightful. This year we chose to use St. Joe so we would have access to the private beach club and golf course. It has been a nightmare, first the house we were directed to was occupied, they had 2 houses similar addresses. One much father from the pool. They issued us a credit and gave us bikes for a week, thanks for that, not!. Well at checkout no credits had been applied, took an hour and it is still not correct. Out of the four people who checked out while we did 3 were given credits for issues.
Also with VBRO or another rental company you get access to golf carts, St. Joe does not allow you to use one.

Got a reservation months ago secured by credit card a informed via email few weeks before arriving with family in tow that our unit no longer available
Asked to speak to supervisors after arriving and after a week, no response
Would not trust
Go elsewhere to enjoy these beaches..
