I spent 3 nights at the hotel with a dog. Rooms are big, well equipped, clean, really a high quality for this price. Breakfast is really good, the only thing I missed was the normal coffee, the, had from machine (come on we are in Italy, where the coffee is the best! You do not need this machines with artificial things) I also tried the restaurant, had dinner there, and it is delicious. The bar in the garden is OK as well if you want a snack. The garden is huge and beautiful, the swimming pool is OK as well. But most importantly the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful all the time. Thank you, I will return for sure!

Have bee there due to some business in the area around. Room was overall OK but you could see that they need some refurbishment here and there. Nevertheless the staff was quite friendly and helpful. Sometimes it could be a bit faster but that is Italy. Questionable if I will be back.

Put into this hotel due to "no room at the inn" with the one we booked. A lovely comfortable hotel with nice grounds and lovely rooms. Only draw back is it was 5 km away from the centre of Desenzano and you had to catch a bus or taxi to get there. Ate in the restaurant one night. Three course set meal for 25 euros or al a carte.

We have been staying here for 5 days and have had a fabulous time. Great food at reasonable prices, excellent swimming pools and other outdoor and indoor sports facilities. Lots of room by the pool and on the nearby lawns and no "beach towels at dawn" around the pool - there's no need! Looks like quite a few people staying here, but nowhere ever feels busy. The service has been amazing. The manager has a wonderful approach to all his guests and his staff. Nothing is too much trouble and he responds to everything with a smile and a very helpful hand. With such a great leader, his approach is mirrored all over, with the restaurant staff being equally pleasant, helpful, smiley and fun! There does not seem to be any hierarchy. People just get on with their job. Looks like they have been working here for a while and they enjoy it.. and so do we! It's not the most up-to-date decor, but everything works well - wi-fi, TV, shower etc and the room cleaning etc is excellent. Come and see for yourselves!

we stayed for a week at the west garda hotel.we had a 4 person suite which was very comfortable and clean. although the facility is old,the amazing landscape and gardens make up for it.the staff was incredibly nice and service was always with a smile.this 4 star hotel was nicer than most 5 star hotel i stayed in.
