Everything was just fantastic and Stuart and Kathrine were top hosts.The food was as good as what we have eaten in a top restaurant.I would approve this place to all my friends.I will be back next year as it is a true gem and better than anywhere else we have stayed at .

Myself and my husband are just back from a delightful stay at this beautiful hotel. As you will see from my pictures, the room was immaculate. Large and extremely comfortable 4 poster bed. Tea and coffee making facilities, mood lighting and the view to wake up to was to die for. 0ur lovely hosts went out of their way to accommodate us. Offering beautiful food and wine for our evening meal, and a cooked breakfast to die for.
I feel 100% relaxed and can't wait to be back in January.

My partner and I enjoyed an amazing weekend at Westgate Manor- the service of which was better than a five star hotel.
Kathryn and Stuart were the perfect hosts and absolutely nothing was too much trouble.
Our room was beautiful with the most comfortable bed- breakfast amazing and the vast menu for dinner was second to none- Kathryn is a superb cook!
We will definitely come back again and do not hesitate to recommend most highly for anybody wanting a quiet few days away in beautiful surroundings.

I was taken here by my partner for my birthday and what a fabulous find it is! From the moment you walk in you are made to feel right at home with the friendly welcome you get off the owners Stuart and Kathryn. We were shown to our room, we stayed in the belvedere room which is en suite, has a four poster bed, beautifully traditionally decorated and comes with a lovely tea and coffee making facility. The entire manor is fitted with fast broadband as well. The food is all freshly prepared and served to perfection, we had the lamb and beef both which were very well slow cooked. The manor also has a bar which is stocked with local ales something my partner took a shine too whilst I enjoyed a white wine. One thing that stood out for both of us is how clean and well decorated the manor is, you can tell it is very well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble for Stuart or Kathryn who always call you by your first name and get to know you which I thought made our whole stay even better as you never felt out of place and were always made to feel comfortable. We enjoyed the board games on the evening, it was a refreshing change from our busy lives in the city. All in all Westgate Manor really does deserve a 5* rating from the food to our room to the very hard working yet exceptionally humble hosts. We had a fantastic night and are already booking up our next stay!
