To watch the sun rise over the mountains surrounding the Whistler Inn in Jasper with a morning coffee was nothing but magical. The coffee provided in the room was a great addition to the room. A regret of mine is that we didn't manage to take advantage of the hot tub as we arrived super late and left quite early the next morning, but if the views from the room were anything to go by, we'd have been in heaven.
The only concern I had and still have is the hotels parking situation, there is very little parking on site at the hotel so it is expected that you find yourself a space on the streets out front. Although this wasn't difficult but I'm sure in a busy season; this could become an issue. But then due to this being my first time in Jasper, I could be wrong.
The hotel is situated in the center of Jasper and everything in the town is in walk-able or stumbling distance after a couple of Moijto's or Gin and Tonics across the road in Earls.

Stayed here this past Sunday. The hotel room was amazing! Beautiful wooden floors and a cozy living area with a fireplace, oh and the view was breathtaking! The staff were all amazing as well. Would definitely return!

We stayed here for one night in October and had the most wonderful view of Connaught drive and the old train station! The hotel is right downtown which made it easy for us to wander around town and try out Jasper Brewing and some local pubs. One of the best features of this hotel are the rooftop hottubs! It was the perfect way to cap off the night!

Located at the end of the two main roads in Jasper.Comfy,clean rooms,suppose it could be a bit noisy at times with the hotels large bar area beneath,though we were at the rear of the hotel so it was quiet for us,plus,being October,there was not a lot of the "younger set"there.We were part of a tour group,so parking wasn't an issue and we heard one or two complaining of lack of parking spaces.

First off I must admit that if I were in my twenties and wanted someplace to stumble back to after a night on the town, this hotel would be a great choice. It is located over a bar and across the street from a second club. It is clean and the hot tub has a wonderful view. The beds were comfortable and the price for Jasper is pretty reasonable.
Unfortunately for us, we are no longer in our twenties; we are a family with two young children. Around midnight on a weekday the building began to shake with the music from the club downstairs. The windows are not soundproof and the conversations of the revelers in the street outside were very loud. This continued until around 2:30AM. I think last call was 2AM. I was very worried that I would be too exhausted to safely drive my family on the Icefield Parkway the next morning. The kids were crying. It was really horrible.
My advice for the management: instead of a bar use the downstairs for a restaurant that does not play music to 2AM. Replace the windows with soundproof ones. Alternatively just convert the whole building to a nightclub, but a hotel and a nightclub cannot reasonably occupy the same small building without proper soundproofing.
