My partner and I arrived here to a lovely poolside room. Our room literally was a poolside room which was lovely when coming in and out of. Clean room also and staff were helpful when needed. We arrived very late and there was no one to greet us so we had no air con which was a downfall. We eventually bought two fans which did the job. The pool was small and never used by anyone so we basically had a private pool! The bar was small but hotels opposite the way and beside the hotel had a bigger pool and bar. Lovely quaint hotel. Good for couple on a budget!

We went back to the White Palace this year to, as we have done at least once a year (sometimes twice) since 2010. What is the reason we do this? This small hotel has everything we need, the rooms are simple but clean, the staff is nice and friendly, the pool is beautiful, the location is perfect and last but not least, Ketsa the manager is a lovely lady who does everything she can to make her guests feel welcome. We have been there as a couple, we have been there with our daughters, sons in law and the grandchild, we have been there with friends and with other family members. It's perfect for us no matter who we are traveling with. The pool area is perfect if you are traveling with kids, it's small so you can relax and still have control over the kids.
We are for sure coming back, again and again.

Not my original choice supposed to be in Argo hotel but moved here but not an issue as lovely big apartment huge balcony tho sun not on it till 2pm-6 but when u got pool to sunbath and the beach 8 mins away no problem .on the whole quite pleasant for what I paid ,fridge kettle and glasses etc but had to buy a mug but no big deal , has a bar but think only open during the day till 9 pm .very easy going atmosphere free to come and go.supermarket next door but go to AB superstore which is 400 mtrs on motorway easy walk much much cheaper and big selection,turn left wfrom hotel follow Rd to traffic lights then left about 300 metres on left .beach very close and eateries around .just 5-10 mins from falaraki centre very busy lots of shops bars clubs tavernas etc .
Also got aircon tv safebox shower toilet sink .

two apartments two couples, when arrived at about 230 pm key left in door patio door left open room full of mosquitos, checked in morning manager gave good information downside had to go down to reception no teaspoons in room then again no knifes then again no saucepans getting a bit fed up then during week changed bedding we had two single beds cleaner had made bed to a double which would have been nice but it was made up with single sheet had to go down again and ask to make back to two singles so we had correct bedding bathroom sink toilet and shower was not cleaned for the 2 weeks we were there and also friends room was not cleaned as well paid for air con last two days and all muck came out of that as well also they have a jacuzzi could not use that unless you paid we used other hotels pools which were free and use of Jacuzzi manager did a lot of blaming her staff and not herself a shame appartments nice if only they were cleaned and well equipped

Firstly Rhodes Airport is a shambles both arriving and leaving, 90 minutes to collect baggage of 2 different carousels, meant we finally arrived at The White Palace Studios at 02.30 on the sunday morning. There was a notice left on the counter advising my wife and my room was 123 and key in door, our friends were in 102 and key in door.
We all found our rooms and I went out and just up the road to a hotel and inquired about water , thankfully I got six bottles for 3 euro.Unpacked drink and bed.
In the morning I went down to reception and the Manager was helpful with night safe and local information on bus prices to the town of Rhodes and Lindos suggesting for the 4 of us a car at 25-30 Euros per day would be cheaper.
However first complaint is the over priced Air conditioning 7 Euros per day.
At this point our friends reported a toilet waste pipe leak and due to a public holiday repairers could not be sorted until the Tuesday , therefore our friends moved rooms to 111.
During our stay we had to complain about only one knife , 2 spoons and no saucepan. There was a lack of kitchen equipment although in our room it was a new kitchen unit and fridge.
I will say that room 123 which is on the 3rd floor has a very large balcony which gets the sun into the evening and overlooks next doors pool.
There is a deffinate lack of cleaning of the apartments and several days our bed covers were left on the bed for us to sort , also 2 single beds with a cover each and top cover each at first was changed to one cover and one top cover placed sideways on, which resulted in my wife and i struggling for the cover , thankfully it was hot due to over priced aircon.(we took this up on the last 2 days when the temperature went over 30 C.There is a supermarket a couple of doors away which are usefull, and the beach is 10 mins walk and nightlife ,
The hotel just up the road stamos is usefull for bar meals and use of there pool as the White palace is small and fairly shaded, also on the front the Orion does excellent breakfasts for 7Euros with a tea coffee or juice with very friendly staff, also you can use there pool and facilities, Beach sun beds are priced at 5Euroes per day with no charge on umbrellas.
I asked at the apartments if we could print out our boarding passes for the return flight , the manager advised that there was no printer on the premises but she would take home and print from there , but also advised that the supermarket hotel would do them and this was good advice, extremely helpful at the supermarket.(tipped worth it) they didn't want to charge.
As i said earlier I took on the last 2 days aircon but must say tha the staff seemed to be unaware how to price and operate the system so had to wait until the manager arrived.
The day of departure I asked if there was somewhere to leave the luggage ( out the rooms at 12.00 and leaving for the airport at 2230 with the temperatures during the day at 33C ) I was told by staff no room available to shower and leave cases in the lounge area ( Later complaint from the manager that our cases were in there ) again I think staff training limited to say the least.
During the holiday the manager also was heard to use the F word when talking about her room staff and lack of utensils (Not Professional)
I was advised my case had been removed from the lounge area to a room in the corridor , on visiting this room , it was clear that this at one time was used as a toilet and shower room,now unusable
We finally got washed as best we could and changed in the corridor toilet which was not lockable.
This was a reasonably priced apartments and had good points but just a bit more thought and customer care would help at no cos.
Finally , as we were sitting outside waiting our taxi back to Rhodes airport , the manager locked reception and left. No - have a good trip or anything. Professionalism required.
I will also say that given all the issues at no point did any of us create we just got on with it, to the point where midweek our toilet waste pipe was leaking and we put a dish at the back of the toilet to catch the water and unsurprisingly this was not spotted by the cleaners.
The staff seemed friendly just not being managed (shame)
