First, we wanted a room close to the Ohio RenFaire, for 3 nights at a reasonable price. Wilmington Inn met the criteria--20 mins from the Faire, easy to find, decent, clean room at an affordable price. Understand, we did not want the Hampton, nor did we want a fleabag. We had no complaints, save a noisy ac unit the first night. BUT...this is not the Hampton. I gave this Inn 5 stars based on the kind of motel it is--room was older but clean. Staff all friendly and helpful. Micro and fridge in the room--clean and comfortable. Near to a couple restaurants and a pleasant area of town. I spent $265 for three nights--would do it again if we return to the Faire.

We stayed 3 nights at the Wilmington Inn, 909 Fife Ave, Wilmington, Ohio in Oct. 2016. The room was small, could not get past chair at desk. Water pressure was minimal, not enough to wash my hair. The bed spreads had holes in them; and best of all, I came home with bed bug bites on my arms, hands, neck and face.

Went in for my nephew's wedding, the staff was awesome in getting us all together and the room was clean and smelled great, the beds were very comfortable as well, the room did have a mini-fridge and microwave in there as well. Overall it was a great stay, I would recommend.

Down here to see family and the only motel available was this one, the outside of the building was dirty and the parking lot was disgusting with cigarette butts, the motel room door would not lock until you lifted it up. The room was clean but the pillows were disgusting as they were like sleeping on newspaper as they were very thin and worn out. I see why they only charge a small price because this is not a very well maintained property. Will not stay here again unless it is most necessary.

I did not stay there for more than the time to see the room disaster. The options for review only presume one stayed for a nite etc. Avoid this place for your health. My sister and I went to another hotel.
