This was a quick little geteway for my 10 year old daughter and I. It was absolutely beautiful. Very clean accomodation and the most wonderful host one can ask for. The pool was fantastic and we had a ton of fun on the hay ride feeding the cows. We stayed in the caravan which was very roomy and adventures. Mt. Airy ( Mayberry) is a beautiful little town that we both enjoyed very much. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to get away from every day hussle and just want to relax and have some beautiful hosts take care o you. Thank you Cindy and Gary. We will be back.
A NIGHT IN THE WOODS

Hosts were very welcoming, but it was not quite what we expected.
We stayed in the cabin, it is very rustic.
There was coffee in the fridge, no milk, and no breakfast was available.
So a little disappointed as we had thought there would at least be an available breakfast.
The price would indicate this.
There were ants in the cabin, but we did find some ant killer and this was fine.
we did enjoy sitting on the porch in the evening and it was very quiet.
Maybe we came at a bad time!
WIFI was poor, but our hosts offered the use of their home for this.
Very gentle hosts and more than excellent breakfast!

We stayed there during our trip from NYC to Miami and booked the caravan. Because of an power failure Cindy and Gary told us that is too hot in the camper and offered us to stay instead either in the cottage or get the money back. We dediced to stay without power.
In parallel Gary tried to get the power back and was successful.
The cottage was very clean and well equipped! It was very quiet and green in front of the cottage and we enjoyed to sit on the porch.
Cindy and Gary were very friendly and cared for everything!
The breakfast was self-made and delicious! Cindy cooked and baked a lot of food. The variety was incredible!
All over we felt like home!
This accommodation close to the Blue Ridge Parkwayy is fully recommendable also for motorcycles!
Peaceful beautiful Wolf Creek Farm

September 2016 trip with daughter Cindy and sisters Jean and Max - enjoyed Mayberry Days and spent a lot of time going to concerts etc. Love going back to Wolf Creek Farm every year. We stayed in Glenn Cabin and as usual very nice. Enjoyed the campfire with the usual great tasting "SMORES". My sister Max had a funny experience with the cat. We were sitting around the campfire and the owners cat came and got on her lap, however, when Max stood up to get a SMORES - the cat wouldn't let her leave, he clung on to her pj bottoms and wouldn't let go; it was the funnest thing I have seen in such a long time. Cat was mad at sister Jean for making him get off Max and came back later and slapped Jean with his paw, so darn funny. Once again my trip to Wolf Creek Farm was exceptionally nice, seeing and talking to Gary and Cindy - we talked for hours. Also went back in October for Autumn Leaves Festival and had a great time. Cindy and Gary were very busy that weekend and we didn't get to see them or talk to them much but we enjoyed going back. The cabin is really so peaceful and my sisters and I just sat around a lot and watched movies and just relaxed. I will definitely be back next year, the year after, etc. THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE WOLF CREEK FARM B&B. Do yourself a favor book a room at Wolf Creek you will never regret going there. Cindy and Gary are so caring and we love going back to see them. Wonderful family and I feel like family to them. God Bless them and this wonderful service they offer, Wolf Creek B&B is far better than any other place I have ever stayed.
the real thing

A so quiet night at Wolf Creek Farm B&B, near Ararat VA ... The hummingbirds' hum, the cattle lowing ... Now finding it, that's another story ... Cindy and Gary couldn't have been more hospitable ... Breakfast was gourmet level ... Gary took us to his huge mancave to show us some of his "toys"
