An old motel close to the busy shopping and entertainment area of Byron and the beach. The room was uninspiring with white walls and no prints to break the monotony. The chairs and table were plastic and too big for the space. We had a sliding door which you couldn't leave open as the smoker next door was sitting next to our door puffing away happily. There are better options nearby. Reception closes at 7pm.

Chose it on location and reviews. Weren't disappointed. Very clean, great location only a few minutes walk to 100's of shops, private beach access. No meals but plenty of nearby options. Very large bathrooms. Good parking. Would return.

We were in an upstairs room very quiet and loads of parking.A short walk to the main street and beach at the back of motel.House keeping needs attention ,sheets had marks on them pity ruined the experience.Beds comfy and bathroom spacious.Reception lady outstanding!

Although the motel is older than some that are nearby, it is extremely well maintained. The rooms are generous with large bathrooms. The shower was walk in and used a shower curtain so it would be suitable for disabled access. Foxtel and internet wifi were free.
The pool area was large with BBQ facilities and plenty of tables and chairs.
The room was very clean as were the rounds.

The location is fantastic, 10 minute walk (max) to the main shopping and restaurant precinct, and motel has direct access to a lovely beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and offer really great extras such as trays with BBQ utensils, oil, paper towel etc, plus other extras such as beach towels and kids' beach toys. That's all great. But, the housekeeping left a lot to be desired. On the days the linen wasn't changed, bed making consisted of just pulling the blanket over the top of the messy bed, the bathroom wasn't cleaned well and although we were there for five nights, the floor wasn' t vacuumed once. We are clean and neat people around the house, but the room still looked very much worse for wear when we left due to poor housekeeping. We will give it another try next time we are in Byron Bay, in the hope the deficiencies have been rectified, as it does have so many positives.
