Spent two night on business. Hotel is located just on the edge of Cupertino. A very nice community within Silicon Valley surrounded by the biggest names in the tech business. Likely because of the large salaries the hotel rates are very high for even the most modest places. The gigantic new Apple computer building is just around the block as is Kaiser Permanente's largest medical center. This hotel was about $195/nt (including the taxes and other fees).
Hotel is well maintained. There is a covered parking area. Lobby is small but comfortable. Hotel staff very extremely friendly. I believe the hotel is 4 stories and medium size. There is a Apple computer for hotel guest use with a printer. However, internet was dead so I was unable to print my airline boarding passes. Reception said there is renovations going on in the hotel which brought down the internet.
Room was a bit larger than normal. Beds were comfortable. LIghting was somewhat poor. Heating worked well. Room was spotless. There was a large LCD TV with normal selection of channels, small refrigerator, wifi was a bit slow. The bathroom was clean but looking like something out of the 60s and was very worn.
Next door is an IHOP. About 5 minute walk was a new, mixed use area of several very nice restaurants and a small Target. Down further is a medium size shopping mall that is near decay with only a movie theatre still in business.
If one has business in this area and would like a hotel in a safe, clean area and a "relatively" reasonable rate, this is a good pick. Just wish management would update the rooms but at least it was clean.

Great place to stay with friendly service. Clean rooms, but the bed was a bit hard for my comfort. Nice hot breakfast in the morning that included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, muffins. Good value for our stay.

Stayed here 3 nights. Clean and spavious rooms are comfortable enough. Few frills. Less expensive than other local hotels. Free breakfast OK, but help not readily available when needed. Badly in need of an update to rugs, drapes and other style elements. Very limited TV offerings. WiFi glitchy requiring more than one daily login.

This hotel is very old. My family stayed here when my father-in-law passed away 30 years ago & the decor has not changed at all. The hallways are cramped & dark. The paint needs to be redone & the decor needs refreshing. The bed was hard as a rock. When the desk person inquired about our stay on our way out for dinner, we mentioned the bed issue. When we returned, they had put a duvet liner on the bed & told us they hope we would be pleased. We had to remake the bed ourselves to put this sorry liner which didn't help at all. The fireplace in the room was boarded up which was an unpleasant sight. there was no instruction on how to access the Internet but Apple was less than a half mile away. I would not stay here for business or pleasure. Spend the extra $100/night & get an adequate room.

I just spent two nights at the Woodcrest - staff was friendly and efficient. I had requested a room not on the ground floor and I got the third floor. There is an elevator.
Rooms are not modern - but traditional - clean - bed comfortable. Breakfast was adequate for this style of lodging and price of accommodations. I will stay here again for business.
