Beautiful Quiet Beach Resort
Craig Won 08/11/2017 19:59We had a wonderful, relaxing time at the X'tan Ha Resort the first week of November! The friendly greeting complete with cool, scented towel, rum punch and personalized tour helped set the tone for the rest of our stay there. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and very nice. This is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway! My only recommendation is to make sure you bring bug spray for the evening and night...those Belizian insects can be pretty vicious!
good location for isolated beach holiday
Manfred Hon 08/11/2017 09:35dated resort but very quite we only had one day of rain so lucky from that point of few hire a bicycle and explore the resorts and beaches along the coast some nice places to discover .Only draw back is that as soon as u leave resort most beaches ''drown'' in plastic refuse washed up in astounishing quantities very sad
Beautiful secluded place
battaj1on 07/11/2017 02:45I have been meaning to write this review as we spent 9 days at this resort in June 2017, I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff and their lovely way they honored my wishes.
The room was beautiful, clean and had a lovely view of the ocean. We were away for my son's memorial anniversary of his death and I cannot thank the staff especially the lovely young lady who made a beautiful memorial for my son.
I would recommend this place for anybody looking for a peaceful vacation. The beach was cleaned everyday. The only bad thing was the restaurant, even though the food was okay the ambiance was surely lacking. I understand the hurricane had devastated the restaurant I think some thought should have gone into making the place more inviting. It needed some tablecloths and decoration to make it more inviting to guest. The wait staff were very, very polite. I would definitely go back again for the pure peacefulness of the resort. The restaurant needed more character and a better menu after-all it was lobster week and it was not on the menu............
Perfect heaven (even for fussy vegetarians)
Sophie Aon 04/11/2017 03:27What a find!! Beautiful setting, comfortable quiet rooms and a perfect slice of the beach. Plus staff was so amazing! Warm, welcoming, funny, and attentive. I researched our trip to Belize for months, wanting a place that was relaxing but had enough activities and a good restaurant (I.e. not too small of a resort). The food was amazing! Kudos to the chef (and all staff for that matter). My boyfriend and I are vegetarian and he doesn't eat cheese (I don't eat portobello mushroom) but every night we had fabulous food. We did a few snorkeling trips that were coordinated through the activities desk and we had absolutely nothing to stress about. I am not a fan of going on vacation to the same place twice except for this place! We may come back soon! In summary, great location, staff, food, beach, and value. You cannot go wrong here!
